WB - Machine Soldier Guide - Guard Machines

- This is not a complete list of all the machine soldiers on the Ahan continent but it is a list that contains
all the machine soldiers that the player characters might find or interact with in the course of their
adventures. These machine soldiers are primarily things that are owned and operated by nations, very
few individuals or adventurers would have them since procuring them is an extremely difficult task, and
once someone has gotten one, they are extremely expensive to repair and maintain.
Guard Machine Soldier (Piker)

They are also known as “Spear carriers”
These machine soldiers are defined by their design of having no neck and being piloted from an open air
machine tank.

Variations
Gallait Meneasu Shiden
This is the standard guard machine used by the Silver Army of the Fourth Army Corps of the Dakaito Razuma
Empire.
This particular machine has been modified to accommodate a large arquebus and lacks arms for grappling or
picking up things.
It is used to guard military positions and to used in squads to fire a rain of arrows down on their enemies.
Gallait Meneasu Shilnasu

This is the standard guard machine of the SoDarian (So-Daruain) Federation.
It is basically a more heavily armored version of the Gallait Meneasu.
Due to the extra armor it can resist damage as well as a Hunting Machine but is slowed due to the extra weight.

Gallait Meneasu Badendol

This machine is derived from the Gallait Meneasu guard machine and has been modified for the Kingdom fo the
Melubaden (Me-Ruba-Den Male), one of the Gauasu nations in the nine nations in the Su Radei Countries.
This country has about 40 of these machines.
Gallait Meneasu Bijikku

This is a modified version of the Gallait Meneasu guard machine for the Kingdom of Desen in the Ragon
region. It is modified to operate in mountainous terrain and has been camouflaged for the mountainous region.

Guard Machine Soldier and the number produced are equal to or greater then the
Gallait Meneasu (although it is debated which is more produced) .
Description The Azu Cuteness Schalken is the latest model in production and is primarily used
in the country of Holy Shalk in the southern area of the Western region of the
continent. The forest nation of Rimtoss uses the Azu Cuteness Waikul.

Azu Kyu-do Schalken
This model is popular in the Old Dynasty nations in the Souther part of the Western Plains. It is the latest model
of Azu Kyu-Do Guard Machines that the Holy Kingdom of Shaluk (Sharuku) has obtained. The Holy Kingdom
of Shaluk has about 10 of these machines

This particular model of Azu Kyu-Do has been modified to be armored lightly for the Third Armies Green Army
Corp of the Dakait Razuma Empire.
Azu Kyu-do Rihanna

A modified model of the Azu Kyu Do Guard Machine used by the Country of Rian in the Northern regions of
the Western continent.
Azu Kyu-do Waikul

This modified version of the Azu Kyu Do guard machine is used by the Country of the Rimtoss Forest in the
coastal nations of Moluareido (moruareido) in the western region.
It is used by the Rimtoss Forest Waikusu Army Corp. They specialize in combat in the forests and the Azu Kyu
Do is painted and camouflaged to reflect that. It is quicker and more balanced then the typical guard machine
and is capable of fighting a Hunting Machine as an equal in the forests of their country.

Due top its simple construction, it can be produced by Blacksmith's not apart of the

would require to produce it.

This frame is considered the masterpiece of Western Blacksmith Guild

production. It is considered to be equivalent to the performance of the Azu Cute
although it is considered not as powerful as the Gallait Meneasu, it is still a far
more durable machine. There is a rumor that it was created to compete with

manufacturing process advances, the cost of production will fall but as of year
832 of the Western calendar the price of this machine is still considerably high

This is a state of the art prototype machine solider produced by the Western
Blacksmith Guild as of year 824. The peak of machine soldier design, this machine
soldier is comparable in fighting ability to some older model Hunting Machine

it's construction being similar to that of a Hunting Machine Soldier, not many of these
machine soldiers have been produced and they are rarely seen on the battlefield.

When compared to other Guard Machine Soldier, this is a considerably high

performance frame. Like other Guard Machine Soldier that operate at higher levels, it
uses the former mask of a Hunting Machine Soldier to power this Machine Soldier.
Description Because of the use of a higher level mask, the mask is covered by a mask-like armored
plate in order to protect it from harm resembling the way the Saint Zuidal Sorel
protected his machine soldier's mask from harm in legend. The name of the machine
soldier means “The Hand that Protects the Mask”.

This is a powerful Guard Machine Soldier. It was created in response to the
machine soldiers fielded by the Dakaito Razuma Empire using an experimental
chassis at its base, but due to the high level of operation required of it the

operate. This also means that the ability of the Machine Hand has to be high as
well to utilize it to it's full potential. A considerable number of these machine
soldiers are fielded by Danbakino already.

Description A model produced by the Western Blacksmith Guild. The fuselage is considered
extremely stable and it uses a more precise arm designed for the average hunting
machine soldier making it well suited for use with a crossbow. As for the
crossbow, it is impossible for it to run and fire at the same time. It is necessary
for an artilleryman to reload the crossbow after each firing. It is a fact that a
specialized Bow Soldier machine soldier (Dokyuuhei Fencer) appeared nearly
900 years ago in the west.

This fuselage is similar in power and performance to other high performance

about the same as that of a Gallait Meneasu.
MARIELLE
Late term design created by Jingu Mariell during the 830's. It was mainly used in the Great War in the Southern
region. It was said that a considerable number was produced and many were given to Machine Hands that
distinguished themselves in battle although it was only a prototype. Although it was created as a Guard
Machine Soldier, it was as powerful and quick as a Hunting Machine and a good pilot could turn it into a
powerful weapon. The main reasons this model didn't become considerably more popular was due to the
difficulty of controlling this machine soldier.

This custom machine soldier is owned and piloted by Azaramu Gorosu. It isn't necessarily the fastest and most
agile guard machine but it is as powerful and well armored as a Hunting Machine. It is a well balanced high
quality machine soldier. The arms are of different design due to the difference in spare parts and battle damage
repairs. Because the frame has been so well maintained, it is still a powerful machine and hasn't deteriorated
greatly over the years.
