8th CPDC - 1st Stage Guidebook (NEW)
Background
Nowadays, in this era, people are living with increasing pace, and undoubtedly they need
more innovative products to accommodate their busy lifestyle. This condition leads to the
growing global market and expanding new opportunities. The products are not limited to
technology, but even in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries, which are the
necessity of people to be able to live.
Nevertheless, we must also consider the condition of the world. We couldn’t escape the fact
that environmental and health issues are very important to increase the standard of living.
Eco-friendly and natural products will be the ideal images of market characteristic in the
future. In 2050, 9 billion people in this world need better options and it is our goal today to
help our world’s future. As a nation, we could undergo two conditions: increasing the income
and expand, or only worsen the current economic situation. This second condition could be
escaped by seeking for opportunities and trying to develop new ideas.
To sum up, through this CPDC event, we want to see new and brilliant ideas of
undergraduates to create fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and how to turn it into a
commercialized product as a global solution towards sustainable future.
