INDEMNITY BOND

This Deed of Indemnity bond is executed on the 22nd day of May


2013, by Shri Rajiv Duggal S/o Shri S.K. Duggal, R/o Chamber No.
163, Patiala House Courts ,New Delhi, hereinafter called the
Executant/indemnifier.

Whereas the executant is holder of Saving bank Account No.


18580100004044 with UCO Bank, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi
110001.

AND WHEREAS the Indemnifier has represented to the Bank


that the cheque book along with requisition slip with respect to the
above said account has been lost by him and the same is not
traceable despite several efforts.

AND WHEREAS the Executant undertake to indemnify the


bank, if the bank suffers any loss by issuing the cheque book
without producing the original requisition slip.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Executant hereto have set and


subscribed his hand hereunto on the day and year first above written.

DEED OF INDEMNITY FOR ISSUE OF A
CHEQUE AGAINST A LOST CHEQUE
THIS DEED OF INDEMITY made on the 6th day of January 2016 Between URMILA W/O. SH.
BRAJLAL R/O. 70, E-4 BLOCK, NAND NAGARI, DELHI, hereinafter called the Indemnifier
which expression shall unless excluded by or repugnant to the context be deemed to include his
heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and permitted assigns) of the
ONE PART AND the President of India (hereinafter called “the Government’ which expression
shall unless excluded by or repugnant to the context be deemed to include his successors or
assigns) of the OTHER PART.

WHEREAS on the ___th day of _____________2015 Cheque No. 055608 dated


14.12.2015 on I.P. Estate, New Delhi (Name of Bank) for Rs. 4,83,909/- was drawn by PAO 10 in
favor of the indemnifier.

AND WHEREAS the Indemnifier has represented to the Government that the said
cheque has been lost by Bank during the transit in the clearing process of SBI Nand Nagari
as informed by the Bank to her vide their letter dt. 30.12.2015.

AND WHEREAS at the request of Indemnifier the Government has agreed to issue a
second cheque for Rs. 4,83,909/- being the amount of the said previous Cheque No. 055608
dated 14.12.2015 upon the Indemnifier giving such indemnity as hereinafter contained.

NOW IT IS HEREBY AGREED by and between the parties hereto as follows:

1. In consideration of the said premises and of the agreement on the part of the
Government in issuing in favour of the Indemnifier a second cheque for Rs. 4,83,909/-
being the amount of the previous cheque No. 055608 dated 14.12.2015 the Indemnifier
doth hereby agree and undertake to refund to the Government on demand and without
demur the said sum of Rs. 4,83,909/- in the event of the said previous cheque no.
055608 dated 14.12.2015 being presented and paid by the bankers and to indemnify the
Government and keep the Government harmless and indemnified from and against all
expenses which may be incurred by the Government in relation there to or in connection
therewith.
2. The Government agrees to bear the stamp duty, if any, chargeable on these presents.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have set and subscribed their respective hands
hereunto on the 6th January 2016 an year first above written.
