House Keeping Activities (5 mins)

Engage (10 min)
 Students will do a brief recap of the previous lesson on temperature

 Students will then be asked to give the unit of the fundamental quantity time.

Explore (10 min)


 Students will be allowed to name some items that we measure the time of.

 Students will be asked some different types of clocks used to measure time after
which a short discussion will take place.

Explain (10 min)


 Students will be provided with a brief history on time, followed by writing the
definition of time in their notebooks.

Elaborate (10 min)


 Students will be asked to form groups of five and each group will be given materials
to create a modern watch that will be able to function effectively in a technologically
advanced era for a busy mother of five children.
