Description
Activity

I like going to quite places which are

uncrowded. Last week I chose a route where
the rough path made it hard to keep the
frame straight. I got stuck in a lot of muddy
holes which were almost impossible to pedal
my way out of. The descent was exhilarating,
though. I felt like I was flying. I reached the
foot of the mountain in about half an hour. I
was exhausted but delighted that I had done
it. to enjoy this activity, you need a good, all-
round level of fitness before you start.

Each time I set myself a goal, which might
be to get to the railway station or all around
the park without stopping once. All the
equipment you need is a good pair of
trainers. While I’m doing it, my mind’s blank.
I don’t think about anything. On the way
home, I slow down gradually. I feel satisfied
because I’ve achieved what I set out to do.
This is a good activity for someone who
enjoys being alone.

I practice in a large sports field near my

home. I fit an arrow to the bow, pull the
browstring back with all my strength and wait
for the ‘thunk’! I get another arrow from the
quiver without pausing to check the target.
My fingers and upper body have become very
strong since I started playing. If you don’t
have the speed for ball games, this coulfd be
an ideal sport for you

We’ve got a large outdoor court where you

can hire a racquet. I play friendly games with
a partner who, like me, is not very
competitive. I enjoy concentrating on the ball
and I like running, so I usually get to most of
the shots. I don’t feel I’m very skilled but I
can perform the basic strokes adequately. If
you want a sociable sport, you would enjoy
this.

I prefer going early in the morning when
everything is peaceful. I love listening to the
birds and breathing the fresh, clear air. I put
on the saddle and bridle and mount by
putting my left foot in the stirrup. When I
trot, I rise up and down in the stirrup to avoid
the ‘bumps’. It’s an ideal activity if you prefer
something non-competitive.

I’ve never felt scared or worried doing this.

Even at the age of two or three, I loved
submerging my face and never used artificial
buoyancy aids. I also like floating on my
back. I feel as though I’m weightless. It’s
very soothing and pleasant, and it’s cheap.
Everyone can enjoy this, however unfit or
badly co-ordinated they think they are.

capital and most populated city in Venezuela. It is located close to the coast (La Guaira Port),
but at an altitude of 800 metres (2400 feet), which gives it a unique climate.

The Andes/Los Andes

High mountains in the tropics. Venezuela, although a Caribbean country, enjoys a wide
variety of climates and landscape thanks to the presence of the Andean range. This region offers
extraordinary views and picturesque spots which make it an authentic tourist pole.

cold or warm, windy or not, just select what you want, and you’ll get it.

Morrocoy
One of the most spectacular national parks. To enjoy Morrocoy, you must visit the keys

you can share with other passengers or that you can hire to take you and pick you up where you
prefer.

booming industrial and commercial pole, offers many tourist attractions.

Los Llanos
