Activity 1

Direction:
1. Each member should have one less strip
than there are group members (e.g. if you have
5 people in your group, choose 4 strips).
2. Each member should 'greet' another
member by pairing up different colored strips.
3. For each match made, group and display the
pairs on your space.
4. Place this card above the pairs.

Activity 2 –
Direction:
1.The group picks three different, unique
colors with which to work.
2. Create triplets of strips using one of each
color, in as many different ways as
possible. You may repeat the same colors,
but they must be in a different order.

Activity 3 –
Direction:

1. The group selects five different colors.


2. Create as many triples as possible that
do not repeat the same colors.

recognize a duplicate easily.

Direction:

which to work.

Group 1: You have 6 different potted plants
from the JNHS Floriculture house and you
wish to arrange 4 of them in a row outside our

Health) on a shelf.
Group 3: The JNHS Canteen serves 8
different snacks. How many ways can
you select 4 snacks to eat?
Group 4: In a Department Store there are 5
different bags displayed. Your mother told
you to buy 2 different bags for you to use in
school. How many possible selection?
