USJR – CWTS Background
VISION
We want USJ-R NSTP-CWTS to be a leading provider of quality graduates of the
nonmilitary component of the NSTP responsive to the growing needs for Pro-God, Pro-
Life, Pro-Country and Pro-Environment leaders of our country.

MISSION
The USJ-R NSTP-CWTS provides avenues to the youth through immersion in community,
civic, religious and academic involvements to equip them with the right knowledge, skills
and attitude in order to enhance their potentials and become effective leaders.
USJR – CWTS GENERAL OBJECTIVES
a. To develop and promote civic consciousness, enhance the intellectual, physical, moral, spiritual, and
social being of the students;
b. To inculcate among the students the ideals of patriotism and nationalism, and advanced their
involvement in public and civic affairs;
c. To instill moral values among the students, inculcate respect for the right of civilians, and adhere to the
Constitution;
d. To participate actively in team building activities;
e. To manifest effective leadership/fellowship skills;
f. To organize community assemblies and linkages;
g. To assist in the implementation of civic welfare projects;
h. To determine community problems and concerns and plan some viable intervention measures;
i. To show a high level of interest in community building tasks; and,
j. To develop a harmonious working relationship with the community

Nationalism - the loyalty to one’s own country by developing


a profound sense of national consciousness, appreciation of
distinct culture, preservation of the environment, among
other endeavors

Service - the willingness, availability, and readiness to


share generously one’s time, resources, and expertise to the
institution and to the community
Pioneerism - Being at the forefront in the pursuit of new
ideas and better ways of doing things

Integrity - the living of a virtuous Christian life worthy of
