I, THE GREEN-CAPED AVENGER

Marvel created league of avengers

To fight dangerous aliens and strangers.

And I, the invincible Green-Caped Avenger

Has happy life and good health to deliver.

II

Flying over my country’s concrete landscape

I see endangered children trying to scrape

For pieces of happiness which seems elusive

In an arid land where sadness is massive.

What is that I hear from a distance?

Sounds of pain without semblance!

Why the wailing? The monster is gnawing

Not just flesh but dreams in the sky hanging.

Avenge the monster with heads horrendous,

A hydra seething with venom, dreadfully dangerous!

“Who are you?” I thunder at the horrible monster.

It roars! The galaxy trembles at its devilish laughter!

“Avenge the monster! Save the children!”

I rally all those with leafy greens in the garden.

“Slay the hydra! Pity the children!”

I enjoin the fruits and all strong brethren.

The monstrous heads of the hydra chorus –

“We are the messengers of death, we are perilous!

We are the king of doom, we are Malnutrition!”

But I, Green-Caped Avenger, won’t bow in submission!

Children of the world rise from beds and couches,

Never allow yourselves to walk in crutches!

Flex your muscles; make your bones strong.

Form yourselves a happy and healthy throng!

Always eat a rainbow in your plate.

It is a balanced diet, a healthy treat.

A daily exercise will supplement,

Attaining a blissful life with contentment.

I, the invincible Green-Caped Avenger,

Provide children with shields far greater

Than the grave power of Malnutrition

To spawn deadly ailments and perdition.

Let me fly over the landscape of our city

To listen to children singing so sweetly.

They are eating healthy and doing physical activity.

They are the future pillars of our society.

Where’s the monster? Let the healthy children answer –

The monster is dead! The hydra has lost its power!
