Interior Design and Purchasing Goods & Services Agreement


This Interior Design and Purchasing Goods & Services Agreement (the Agreement) constitutes a contract between the
individual(s) identified in the Client Information section below (the Client) and Kaprice Tropical, LLC: Home Decor and E-
Design Services as of the Agreement Date.

The Client and Kaprice Tropical, LLC agree as follows:

INTERIOR E-DESIGN SERVICES

General Description of Interior Design Service. Interior Design is a broad category of services. The specific services to be
provided by Kaprice Tropical, LLC if different from the list of general services below, will be detailed in writing between the
Client and Kaprice Tropical, LLC prior to engagement. These services may include, but are not limited to:
Programming & Schematic Design. Programming includes, but is not limited to, conducting research; identifying
and analyzing the needs and goals of the Client; assessing the existing environment, and evaluating project resources
and limitations. A successful design requires the teamwork of both the Client and Kaprice Tropical, LLC therefore,
interviews with the Client or family members will help Kaprice Tropical, LLC fully understand the goals for the use
and desired outcome.
Conceptual Drawings. Kaprice Tropical, LLC if appropriate, will provide conceptual drawings, CAD diagrams, or
other illustrations and/or materials to generally show the suggested interior design concepts, including both space
and/or floor plan specifications and furniture, furnishing, fixture, textile, and/or accessories specifications.
Merchandise Specification. Furniture, furnishings, fixtures, textiles, accessories, and building materials (collectively
referred to as Merchandise) are an integral part of the design process. Kaprice Tropical, LLC works with the Client in
narrowing the selections based on the Client’s desired scheme. Kaprice Tropical, LLC will assist the Client in finding
the appropriate pieces and selecting textiles and finishes that compliment the overall design concept. Recommended

Merchandise specifications can be provided to facilitate your purchase of such recommended items and most
recommended Merchandise will be items the Client can order online or at local furniture dealers.
Design Disclaimer. Kaprice Tropical, LLC cannot be held responsible for designs that may later be undesirable or cause
inconvenience. The Client understands that all interior designs, including those provided by Kaprice Tropical, LLC may
represent the opinion and tastes of the designer as the designer interprets the Client’s goals and wishes.
Conceptual Drawings. Kaprice Tropical, LLC’s drawings, and specifications are conceptual in nature and intended to set forth
design intent only. They are not to be used for architectural or engineering purposes. Kaprice Tropical, LLC does not provide
architectural or engineering services and cannot be held liable for designs used for such purpose.
Ownership of Designs. All concepts, drawings, and specifications prepared by Kaprice Tropical, LLC (a.k.a. Construction
Documents) and all copyrights and other proprietary rights applicable thereto remain at all times Kaprice Tropical, LLC’s
property. Construction Documents may not be used by the Client for any purpose other than completion of Project by Kaprice
Tropical, LLC. If the nature of the Project requires engagement by Client of any contractors to perform work based upon Kaprice
Tropical, LLC concepts, drawings or interior design specifications, the Client will enter into contracts directly with the concerned
contractor after obtaining written approval from Kaprice Tropical, LLC.
Subcontractor Responsibility. Kaprice Tropical, LLC may provide a referral for contractors and installers. Kaprice Tropical,
LLC may also meet with contractors and installers for estimates and review the contractors’ and installers’ work to determine
whether the work is proceeding in general conformity with Kaprice Tropical, LLC concepts. This is a courtesy to the Client.
However, constant observation of contractors’ work at the Project site is not a part of Kaprice Tropical, LLC duties. Kaprice
Tropical, LLC is not responsible for the performance, quality, timely completion or delivery of any work, materials or equipment
furnished by contractors. Kaprice Tropical, LLC will not intermediate disputes between the Client and recommended contractors
or installers.

PURCHASING GOODS

Shipping. Our items are made-to-order for y'all and will be shipped with care as soon as possible!
Pillow Covers. All handcrafted pillow covers ship takes 3 - 4 weeks after your order to receive your item(s).
Orders are shipped via USPS; you'll receive an email confirmation with your order and tracking numbers once your
order has shipped.
Pillow Inserts. Kaprice Tropical, LLC does not sell and ship pillow inserts.
International Shipments. We DO SHIP in Canada but Kaprice Tropical, LLC DOES NOT cover any extra shipping
rates or customs fees.
Please verify the accuracy of the shipping address when placing an order. Shipped orders are unable to be altered
or redirected with the shipping carriers. Undeliverable, incorrect address or refused packages that are returned to us
will be canceled and unable to be reshipped. A refund will be issued minus a 20% service charge of the purchase price.
The original shipping fee is non-refundable.
Sales Tax. We charge Maryland sales tax for orders shipping to Maryland.

Returns & Exchanges. We currently are only able to accept exchanges on items that you received damaged.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. We will happily replace new, unworn/unused items if they are damaged in
shipping or in production. Item(s) must be returned in original condition with tags attached (if present). However, we
are not big enough yet to take returns or exchanges on items that do not fit, or you no longer like.
We do not accept merchandise returned with signs of wear, damage, alteration or without tags. Your refund will be
credited to the same card used to make the original purchase. Please allow up to 2 - 3 weeks for your exchanged item
to arrive. We’ll send you an email when our team has processed your exchange so you know it’s on the way.
HOW TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE. Email hello@kapricetropical.com with your order number, the damaged item
you need to exchange, and the reason for your request. Our Customer Service Team will be in contact within 24 -48
hrs. of your email with instructions on how to process your request.
