The first thing that we collected is the manga tree branch. Next thing we did is bought the soil from a local
gardening place and asked if we could have the most acidic one. ii. BURNING OF THE WOOD We burned the woods
by using an alcohol lamp filled with denatured alcohol. After being able to attain the right amount of wood ash, we
added it to the containers with soil. iii. OBSERVATION After being done with everything we finally advanced on the
observation step and observed the soils for 4 consecutive days. B. RISKS AND SAFETY All throughout the
experiment, we needed to be extra cautious for we were dealing with fire. We also needed to be cautious about the
knife we were using to cut the woods in pieces. We also wore glove during the moment where we were interacting
with soil. C. DATA ANALYSIS The way we have analyzed our data is through being able to perceive it’s effect and
taking notes of the pH’s level changes with the use of pH Soil Meter.
