Press Meet Points

Galla Jayadev, member of parliament, Telugudesam party has conducted a press meet in Party
Central office at Atmakur, Mangalagiri said, when the Central government introduced the Citizenship
Amendment Bill in both Loksabha and Rajyasabha Telugudesam Party had supported. We didn’t find
any faults in the bill then. According to the bill, it mentioned very clearly about three countries namely
Pakisthan, Afganisthan and Bangladesh. Once all these three countries were party of India. At the time
of Partition many of Hindus Migrated to India from these countries and many Muslims were went off
from India to this trio. If the post partition situation examine clearly the population of Hindu minorities
in these countries drastically had come down. As these countries follow the Islamic Constitution the
Hindus cannot practice Hinduism freely they used to migrants India frequently. The Indian government
had introduced Citizenship Amendment Bill to avail Indian Citizenship to the religious Hindu minorities
as they face a severe political Prosecution in those countries. We did not find any miscreants in the bill.
But after that when the central government bringing out NRC we are coming to known the dangerous
that are shooting at the very religious Muslim minorities of India. As of now NRC had introduced in the
state of Assam itself. After the study of Assam NRC we have found many issues like Time, Money, and
the quality of the survey and are not getting confidence over it. As the central government is not able
complete it in Assam how can they do it across the country, we doubt. If CAA and NRC are done
together there are huge chances of misusing the acts. According to the act a non Muslim can get a fast
track citizenship even if he/she fails in subjecting proper proofs and documents. But it won’t work in the
case of minority Muslims. Hence, these minority Muslim People will be kept in the detention camps
already constructed. In 2008 at the time of congress government a detention centre had been set up in
Assam. As the Bangladeshi refugees are considerable number present at Assam in 2011 three more
centers were opened. The government is constructing Detention camps in Goa, Sondakoppa, 40 KM
from Bangalore in Karnataka, Nerul in Navi Mumbai in Maharastra, Govindaraj Sahib in Tarn Taran
district in Panjab, in Alwar near to Rajasthan Central Jail. But in the West Bengal and Kerala
government has been stopped constructing these centres. Why these Detention camps like Concentration
Camps are constructing? Why because if any Muslim minority fails in submitting document proofs in
getting citizenship they will be kept in these centres. We are condemning this seriously on behalf
Telugudesam Party. To known who is Citizen of this country and who is not, this NRC should be
conducted. But when this is misused there is serious threat to minority Muslims in the country. Until
unless the minority Muslims were given confidence and there will be no threat to original inhabitants of
the country by the Central government we won’t support the move of Central government.
