Brave new world

This novel was written by Aldous Huxley, a British author, philosopher and one of the most
important writer from 20th century.

First of all, this is a futurist novel, where there no longer parents, gods, suffering, despair, and
each human is develop in controlled quantity by scientists and directed by intervenors, whose
main job is watch the whole society.

As the story goes, in the middle of this indescribable society, appears a man who is the first
human born by a woman, and, few by few, Michael is going to shake up them, because of, he’s
from a place which is called uncontacted zone, place with different, strange and disturbing
rituals.

The author makes how would have be living if everyone had no frustrations, no panic, no
death fear, and if, for one moment, someone would have doubts or anxies, this society will
give a special pills, called “soma”, that apparently will be a kind of hallucinogenic drug, which is
the solution to any problem in the life.

In my opinion, this novel recreates a society have no freedom, controlled by the most powerful
people, as well as, social creation of religion due to death ignorance.
