HERE IS HOW

STEP 1
The first step is to dismantle the 4 pallets:

- Version A: with the help of a hammer and a chisel, then remove all the rusty nails OR

- Version B: use an iron saw – faster method but the rusty nails stay in the wood.

STEP 2
You need to cut 8 pieces of 80cm (31,5 in) in the pallet planks. If you have an EURO pallets
(1200mm x 800mm), you only have to select 8 planks from the pallets.
Then, you need to cut:
‣ 40 pieces of 40 cm (15,7 in) and
‣ 2 pieces of 33cm (13 in).
You can saw the long - 120cm - slats in third and the other 80cm slats in half if you use EURO
pallets (1200mm x 800mm).

STEP 3
Before working with the pallet slats, you need first to polish them.
For this, cut a piece of abrasive paper – to make the polishing easiest, use a small slat. For
even easier polishing, you can use a grinding machine.

STEP 4: SIDES X3
In this step, you will assemble the storage sides (X2) and back (X1). Leave 1,5cm (0,59 in) space by
the top of the sides – it’s approximately the thickness of a slat and place eight 40cm slats well-
proportioned on two 80cm slats. Then, fix the 40cm slats onto the two 80cm slats with nails.

STEP 5: THE FRONT & INNER

For the front, you will need five slats of
40cm (15,7in) and two slats of 80cm.
For the inner side, you will need two
slats of 40cm (15,7in) and two slats of
33 cm (13in). Do not assemble them
at this stage.
The assembling process for the front is
the same than in step 4. The
difference, is that you have to cut the
two 80cm slats after the last 40cm
slat.

STEP 6: THE TOP

You’ll need four slats that you will set-up in a 36cm (14,17 in) distance. Use two slats,
that you saw earlier for fixing them. If you want, you can add the handle on the top
at this step.

STEP 7:
The next step is to paint the surface of the slats with wood stain. We chose a
mahogany color, love it. Wait till the parts are completely dry (it depends on the
wood stain).

In this picture, you can see the 3 sides (left), the front (middle top), the top (middle
bottom), the bottom slats and the inner-part slats not assembled (right).

STEP 8: ASSEMBLING
Use square brackets to join the sides – 3 pieces for each corner and for the front, two square
brackets are enough. For the inner slats, also use square brackets.

STEP 8: BOTTOM ASSEMBLING
Almost the last step, clinch five already cut slats onto the bottom then, position the caster
wheels on it and fix them with screws.

You’ve made it?
