Job Description

An Associate Manager - Operations & Delivery is part of the Project Management team at
OysterConnect.com and is responsible for Launching and Managing Projects on the portal
OysterConnect.com. Following will be the key responsibilities of an Associate Manager - Operations
& Delivery:
Project Listing & Portal Management

● Engage with the Client Project Manager to Use OysterConnect.com’s interface to post project
details, acquire students, invite applications, select students, train & assess students, release
certificates and to raise stipend requests. Create and implement processes to improve
operational efficiency.

​Student Onboarding
● Acquire and select interested students to work on the assigned projects.
● Create comprehensive training programs to ensure that students are Project ready.
● Ensure students get started on the project tasks.

Customer Engagement & Account Growth


● Engage with Customers (Senior Managers in companies like TripAdvisor, Shiksha.com, GSK,
Microsoft, Nestle, Yatra.com & Quikr) to understand project details, flesh out execution
plans, provide training on OysterConnect’s Project Management Dashboard & Student
management processes, and regular consulting to iron out project level operational issues.
● Responsible for maximizing the efficiency of the assigned accounts by ensuring systems and
processes.

​Inter Departmental Engagement


● Engage with Top Management & Sr. Manager - Operations to implement ideas to improve
operational efficiency.
● Engage with the Marketing Team to implement ideas to improve student applications on
your Projects & Internships.
● Recommend simple features / functionalities to the Tech team in order to improve user
experience and efficiency on OysterConnect.com
● Engage with Commercial team to ensure timely raising of invoices for the assigned accounts

1. How would I describe this job to someone outside the Company ?


○ It is a 360 degree role which starts from understanding the customer requirements
to acquiring students / freelancers to later training them to achieve the expected
deliverables.
2. Would I have Revenue Targets?
○ You will have specific operational output as part of your performance deliverable.
3. Will I get a team or is it an individual contributor role?
○ This is an Individual Contributor role.
4. Will I be expected to bring in new Customers?
○ No, you would be working with existing / onboarded customers only. However you
will be expected to engage with the Sales team to carve out the operational details of
any new proposition. You will also be expected to nurture and grow the assigned
customers.
5. Will I get an opportunity to engage with Corporates?
○ Yes, you will be in constant touch with the Corporate Personnel throughout the
course of the engagement.
6. Who would I report to?
○ You will report to the Sr. Operations Manager. You will also work very closely with
the CEO.
7. What sort of growth / learning opportunities can I expect over a period of 2-3 years?
○ Subject to performance, you will get an opportunity to manage bigger and much
more complex accounts. All high performers are promoted to the next level within 1
year of joining. In terms of learning, you would go through a complete
transformation wherein you would become extremely fluent with all the business
essential tools and platforms like Google Spreadsheet, Presentations, Project
Management & Data Collection Apps. You will also gain experience on how
companies / functions / products are run and managed.
