Many news channels worldwide has been reporting on the seismic activity of Mount Agung on our
beautiful island. Some of you have asked us if we will be affected by the recent volcanic activity and we
wanted to ensure you that we take guest safety very seriously.

In Jimbaran, we are very fortunate that

our daily lives are not currently being
affected, and life is going on as any
normal day. Do be safe in the knowledge
that Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort & Spa is
located approx. 76,8 KM (47,7 Miles)
South-West of Mount Agung, and Ngurah
Rai International Airport in Denpasar is
located approx. 75 KM (47 Miles), South-
West of the mountain. At the
same time, we are praying for the people
of Karangasem who have had to leave
their homes until the situation is back to
normal.

The Indonesian authorities are

thoroughly prepared for this natural
phenomenon to ensure that people
are safe and have released an official
statement to ask that tourists continue to come and enjoy their visit in Bali. Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort &
Spa, as well as the Balinese people, appreciate all the visitors who come and enjoy our beautiful island
and support the local economy.

We are aware of the concern that Mount Agung situation might temporarily halt airport activities during
your stay. Thus, we would like to ensure you that if the airport closes, the rest of your stay with us is free
