BIR RELIEF System Installation Job - Aid

Copying & Installation Procedures of BIR RELIEF

( Data Entry & Validation Modules)
(From Diskette <Drive A:> to PC <Drive C:>)

1. Create a new folder in drive (C:) where to save

the BIR RELIEF Installer (RELIEF Data Entry
and Validation Modules).

2. Provide four (4) new sub-folders under the main

folder created in item 1. Label them as Disk1,
Disk2, Disk3, and Disk4.

3. Insert Disk 1 in drive (A:). Open diskette, select

all files, then copy and paste to subfolder Disk 1
in drive (C:). Follow the same procedures for
diskettes 2, 3 and 4.

Note: Disk 1 contains nine (9) files and Disks 2, 3 and

4 contain one (1) file each. If Disk 1 does not
show 9 files, click on <View> at the menu bar,
choose <Options> and click on the <Show all
file>. Check now if Disk 1 contains nine (9)
files.

4. After copying all diskette files in drive (C:),

open Disk1 subfolder. Select and double click
setup.exe file (w/ computer icon) to install the
program.

5. A series of RELIEF Data Entry System screens

will appear starting with <Initializing Setup…..>.

6. Click <Continue> button.

7. Click <OK> button.

Note: It is advisable to close all programs (I.e. MS
Office, Shortcut Bar, etc.) prior to the installation
of the RELIEF System.

8. Encode the user name and company name, then

click <OK> button.

9. Click <OK> button to confirm encoded data on the

previous screen. Otherwise, click on the <Change>
button to correct the information entered.

10. Click <OK> button to confirm installation of the

program.

Note:
10.1 Procedure for users handling data
entry for more than one company. Click
the button, a pop-up <Change
folder> screen will appear. Encode the
desire company name then click
<OK> button.

10.2 Click the <YES> button to create a new

folder

10.3 Click <OK> button to continue for the

installation

11. Click the large button to install the program.

12. Click button until installation 12.1 From the <Program Group> field encode
is completed. the company name then click
button until installation is completed.

13. The process installs the RELIEF Data Entry

System, RELIEF Database Back-up, RELIEF
FAQs Readme and RELIEF Validation Module.
To start any of the modules, click <Start> button on
the desktop. Select <Programs> and <BIR
Relief>. Then select and click on the desired
module.
