Where: Woodward School Gym
Whe: Open to interested Woodward students. Students may work individually or in group of no more than 3 total
What: Create a science fair project that follows the attached guidelines
Why. Anoppoitunityto investigate an area of science that is of peasonal interest to you and expand your personal knowledge of scientific concepts

Projects could be science experiments or engineering projects. All science fair projects must be approved by your classioom teacher prior to
beginning the project
Allprojects must have the requized components and follow the guidelines provided on the attached pages
Students need to set up projects inthe cafetesia by 3:15 pm on day of the fi

There are 2 categories of science fair projects:
- experiment (science experiments must follow the steps of the scientific method)
~ engineering (engineering projects must attempt to solve a problem)
Every participant must have their own journal. (a journal is your diary of your project)
No realia are allowed. Realia are the objects and materials used to complete your project.
Use pictures to show your project if necessary.
No identification should appear on the front of the board. Avoid using pictures with participant
faces.
All participants names (including their teachers) should be clearly written on the back left
panel of your display board. (behind purpose/question)
All projects must be in the gym and placed on the appropriate table by 3:15 on the day of the
science fair.
Failure to follow any of these guidelines will result in disqualification.PURPOSE
