PRONE TO HAVE ACCIDENT
Fog creates dangerous driving conditions on any road and is one of the causes of high number of accidents resulting in injury, fatality and property
damage. Fog could become denser and visibility is deteriorated swiftly. Drivers visibility is reduced causing accidents. Safety Tips are appended
here under for safe driving in fog condition.

 Reschedule the vehicle journey, if possible;


 Inspect vehicle including tire, lights and wiper checks prior to trip;
 Turn ON all lights except high beam and hazard lights;
 Use low beam head lights and fog lights, if available;
 Do not use cruise control & phone and keep vehicle on your control;
 Use windshield wipers and defroster, as necessary;
 Maintain safe distance while driving;
 Keep right side track and move slowly;
 Slow down and do not driver faster than your vision;
 Be ready for emergency stop by other vehicles;
 Do not change tracks or overtake unless visibility is ensured;
 No tailgating and No harsh breaking.
 Signal early, when you apply break;
 Watch out for slow-moving and parked vehicles;
 If no visibility, pull completely off the road and park safely;


Turn ON hazard flashes if you pull off the road and park vehicle;
Move out of the vehicle to a safest place; and
Always Be Careful
 Wait for fog clearance & visibility to proceed with the trip.
