FINAL TOUCHES

Weekly Report 15- 12/08 to 12/08

Failure is essential to success. By inspiring creative solutions and
strengthening an educational foundation, failure allows growth and
improvement in any field. This past week, I worked to incorporate a 3D model
of a wastewater stabilization pond into my Original Work. However, without a
strong background in coding, software development, or 3D design creation,
finding software and completing a 3D model proved difficult. After a couple of
failures learning how to navigate each website, I decided to model the pond
on Google Drawing. Working with a known database makes space for
creativity and allows for the development of solutions for the wastewater
stabilization pond. 

Similarly, this past week, remaining research for Original Work was
completed and the educational article, SMU hypothesis corroboration, and
model diagrams were started. By working on the basics and building from
there, research proved beneficial and less time-constraining.This week, it is
crucial that I finish all drafts of the article and designs to publish. In addition, I
must meet up with my mentor to finalize Original Work information and
schedule an interview with a water engineer to go over the basics of a
wastewater stabilization pond model.
