WEEK 1
Activity Assignment
Cracking GENERAL
• Read the Introduction (Chapter 1) and Cracking the Adaptive Sections
(Chapters 3, 4, 5)
• Take and grade Warm-Up Test (Chapter 22); use the Test Scoring Guide
(Chapter 23) to help you understand and interpret your results. Your initial
score will dictate which Practice Bins you should work with in the
coming weeks.
MATH
• Read the Basic Principles (Chapter 7) and POE and GMAT Math (Chapter 8)
VERBAL
• Read the Sentence Correction section (Chapter 15)
INTEGRATED REASONING
• Read the Basics section (Chapter 18)

WEEK 2
Activity Assignment
Cracking MATH
• Read Data Sufficiency (Chapter 9), Arithmetic (Chapter 10), and Algebra
(Chapter 11).
o Complete Drill 1 (AD/BCE), page 79; Drill 2, page 89; Drill 3, page 90;
Drill 4, page 98; Drill 5, page 102
VERBAL
• Read Reading Comprehension (Chapter 16).
INTEGRATED REASONING
• Read the Strategies section (Chapter 19)
ANALYTICAL WRITING ASSESSMENT
• Start reading this section (Chapter 21). Pay close attention to
the sample template.

Drill 10 (Triangles), page 200; Drill 11 (Circles), page 204
VERBAL
• Read Critical Reasoning (Chapter 17). Return to the Practice Bins.
INTEGRATED REASONING
• Tackle the Drills (Chapter 20)
ANALYTICAL WRITING ASSESSMENT
• Finish reviewing this section (Chapter 21); pay close attention the argument
template.

WEEK 4

Cracking MATH
• Begin tackling the Math Practice Bin problems. Remember to pull out your
Warm-Up Test to quickly review your results.
o 6 or fewer math questions correct: tackle Math Bin 1, Questions 1–15
o 6–13 questions correct, tackle Math Bin 2, Questions 1–15
o 14 or more questions correct: tackle Math Bin 3, Questions 1–15

VERBAL
• Begin tackling your Verbal Practice Bin problems. Again, remember to pull out
your Warm-Up Test to quickly review your results.
o 6 or fewer math questions correct: tackle Verbal Bin 1, Questions 1–15
o 6–13 questions correct, tackle Verbal Bin 2, Questions 1–15
o 14 or more questions correct: tackle Verbal Bin 3, Questions 1–15

WEEK 5

Cracking VERBAL
• Use this week as your designated Verbal week. Review all portions of
this section:
o Sentence Correction (Chapter 15)
o Reading Comprehension (Chapter 16)
o Critical Reasoning (Chapter 17)
• Return to the Verbal Practice Bins. Complete the Bin level with which you
started and then see if you can move on to the subsequent, more
challenging Bins.
