Hearts unto Wisdom

Theme: - “He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good”
(Proverbs 19:8).

Bible advised that wisdom is the principal things (Proverbs 4:7). Some political leaders, churches, and
parents understood that the days are evil (Ephesians 5: 16). People who are gifted to understanding the
time may conclude that the evil ones are stealthy seeking destiny and people to destroy through diver
means and by many strategies (1 Peter 5:8).

The more superior wisdom will prevail. “…there was found in it [in a city] a poor wise man, and he by
his wisdom delivered the city” (Ecclesiastes 9:15). Thus, to move individuals, families, communities, and
invariably nations forward; positively the wisdom in our hearts needs to be re-sharpened (Ps 90:12). May
the Lord God from His sanctuary fill our hearts with the spirit of wisdom.

Beloved children and young adults, may Lord God enhance the wisdom in your hearts and give you grace
to continue to obey your parent(s) in the Lord (Ephesians 6:1). “In the Lord” because not all advices are
expedient (1 Corinthians 10:23). To create effective ambassadors of the kingdom of righteousness our
children need to be better enhance with quality capability via proactive official and informal education
necessary to solve challenges our societies would face tomorrow. The prospective parents would
acknowledge the sacrifices of people who influenced them positively when they passed the baton to next
generation.

As parent, less social media, more prayer and interaction with our children, and more involvement in
activities that demonstrate positive exemplary life would be beneficial. Apostle Paul admonished that “All
things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be
brought under the power of any [not even unfiltered social media or unfocused company]” (1 Corinthians
6:12; 1 Timothy 5:13). Been alluded to another culture, and yet aware that wisdom is to understand that
with timely good planning, persistent work, and guidance of God all legal studies, jobs, and retirements
are beneficial.

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the
world unto our glory” (1 Corinthians 2:7). That the Lord God is always generous with wisdom. And having
personify wisdom God offered is freely to whoever asked in faith. As it is written “But unto them which are
called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:24). And
backed-up by emphasis that “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and
righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30).

Jesus Christ is the wisdom of God before, now, and hereafter (Isaiah 11:2; Hebrews 13:8) and “… when we
were yet without strength [wisdom of God], in due time Christ died for the ungodly (Romans 5:6). Be sure
to build your life and tomorrow on the everlasting and reliable ancient wisdom; freely given. As it is
written “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not;
and it shall be given him” (James1:5).

Prayers:
- Lord God help me to apply my hearts unto wisdom in each area of life in Jesus name (Psalm 90:
12).
- Oh Lord God give me wisdom to finish in life excellently according to your will in Jesus name.
Amen (James 1:5).

1 Corinthians 10:23 - “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not
expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify/improve not.”
Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth. 25Whatsoever is sold in
24

the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake: 26For the
earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.

1 Corinthians 6:12-20 - 12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are
not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the
power of any.

Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them.

Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the
15

members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that
18

committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your
20

spirit, which are God's.
