Introduction
Glue is use to bind different materials or to fix broken pieces. In modern time,
glue may vary from industrial and commercial purposes to an ordinary glue used at
home and in school. The first glue used to connect materials together for the repair
of broken ceramics and statue in 4000 BCE. The development of glue industry is
moving forward rapidly, and the creation of stronger and more flexible glues are

This study has unique quality that make it differ from the usual glue they used.
The creation of glue dates to around 200,000 BC, when it was mixed with
paint to make cave drawings last longer. At 4000 BCE, glue was first used to
connect materials together. It was made out from the bones, hides and skin of
animals back then. The ancient Egyptians discovered an important use of glue in the
furniture creation process. Throughout multiple centuries, the creation and repair of
furniture has required significant glue resources. While the Egyptians were the first to
develop the practice, the use of glue in furniture continued through the 19 th century.

can be an altenative glue to use in home and it is highly recommended to anyone.
However, homemade waterproof glue can’t be long lasting it can last it up to 4-5
days because of the milk that easily to spoil.
Summary
Soon as you mixed the all purpose milk, gelatin with water, a chemical
reaction occurs. When you applied the glue to the happens in ordinary glue. Setting
it aside causes it to dry out, letting the water evaporate which in turn causes the glue
to paper and set it aside to dry, the water in the mixture evaporates, making the
paper with glue hard.
Trial 1
We performed the procedure and put the glue in the jar. Once cooled down,
it was thick and sticky. We tested it on two pieces of paper and I left it to dry for a
while. When I returned, the paper was stuck together. Therefore, the milk for trial 1
successfully turned into thick, sticky glue.
Trial 2
The glue came out a bit different from in trial 1. We repeated the same
procedure and put the glue in the jar. Once cooled down it wasn't as sticky as the
glue from trial 1. We tested it on two pieces of paper and left it to dry. When we
returned, the paper was stuck together. Even though it was not as thick as the glue
from trial 1, it still worked well.
We repeated the procedure and put the glue in the jar. Once cooled down,
it was thicker than the glue for trial 2. I tested it on two pieces of paper and when i
returned, it was stuck together. Therefore, the glue in each trial worked perfectly.
Conclusion
At beginning of our project our hypothesis was if it mixed milk with water and
gelatin, then the milk would turn into glue. I thought this because the heat would
cause the milk to become sticky and thick. Based on the results of our experiment,
our hypothesis was supported. During all three trials, the milk turned into thick, sticky
glue and was able to glue pieces of paper together. Therefore, we conclude that if
milk is mixed with water and gelatin it will turn into water proof glue.
At the end of the trials, we kept the glue in the house of our co-researcher,
but after five days we noticed that it expired. In other words this waterproof glue
experiment only lasts in 3-5 days.
