I am a graduate with bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and currently undergoing Graduate
Enhancement Employability Training Program (GEET) with Putrajaya Holding Sdn. Bhd. I
wish to apply for the role of Design Engineer that currently being advertised in your company
website.

I have attached with this letter my resume to be able to provide you with some information on
my educational background as well as my experience in the field of engineering and
construction field. Currently I am assigned to Health and Safety department where I have been
exposed to enforcement of safety and health at construction site. Although my current job
descriptions were not fully related to the civil engineering field, it has equipped me with
communication, organizing and management skills.

During my degree study, I had my internship at ZHL Engineers Sdn Bhd and from that I was
exposed to water resources and Sungai Perak dam safety analysis project. I have experience in
using Manual Saliran Mesra Alam (MSMA) 2nd editions in designing for best management
practice. For my diploma internship at Empayar Perunding Sdn. Bhd., I am responsible in
assisting civil engineer in preparing structural drawings by using AutoCAD software and also
exposed to ESTEEM software.

As for technical skills, I am certified as beginner in using AutoDesk Revit and Bentley Building
Information Modelling (BIM) software. Structure and Infrastructure design work have been
my full-time passion and I determine to start my career in this field. I believe that I would be
an asset to your company if ever I will be hired for the position.
