Title
Study to learn basic Troubleshooting issues of network in Information
Technology (IT) Industry.

Introduction
Information Technology (IT) industry is growing rapidly since its inception.
Indian IT’s are going through exciting times. Starting with captive units and low-
end activities IT’s are now moving to high-end activities. Indian IT’s are operating
in both front-office and back- office operations.
It required to give the reasons of selecting computer hardware and software for
the organization an important management decision. It also required to state out the
management, organization, and technology issues that should be considered when
selecting computer hardware .
In addition, good decisions for selecting computer hardware and software make
a business grow. Bad ones will burn organization’s business money and investor’s
money. When this money is gone, the business will fail.
Objectives

 To understand issues and challenges faced by employees of IT industry


related to system usage.
 To figure out which of mentioned problems are prominent / frequent and to
find out causes.
 To analyze the primary / fundamental solutions to the listed system related
problems.
 To find out techniques to resolve these problems.
 To evaluate alternative methods to sort out the issues.
 To recommend the industry solutions or best practices to be followed to
avoid routine problems.
Research Methodology

A. Research Objectives
The purpose of research is to discover solutions to routine problems occurs
through the entire Networking systems. The main aim of research is to list out
the alternative solutions which convenient to business. Though each research
study has its own specific purpose, we mention some general objectives of
research below:
 To gain familiarity with an issue or to achieve new insights into it
 To portray accurately the causes of a particular system issue.
 To determine the frequency with which system issues occurs or with
which it is associated with something else.
 To test a system of an interconnection between Hardware, software and
network.
 
B. Method Used for Data Collection
Both primary and secondary data where chosen to collect the data that were
using analyzing the research study. Primary data where obtain through question
arising given to respondents while the secondary data where gather to journals,
articles, internet and other published materials.
 Primary Data
Structured questionnaire is were distributed to users through google forms. A
sample size of 100 users was chosen given that it is considered adequate and
representative.
Those data that have been observed and recorded by the researcher for the first
time in their knowledge.
 Secondary Data
This data includes articles, journals and literatures in addition to business
magazine and google books. Those data that have been compile by some
agency other than user.
C. Research Instrument Used
I. Questionnaire
In order to collect the relevant information from the respondents by asking
questions, it is necessary to design a questionnaire comprising of questions
related to the research problem. Questionnaire is used to explore the unidentified
facts and figures about a particular objective or issue.
II. Observations
To collect desire information about a research problem without any personal
communication is called Observation. Here, the observer observes the object
from a suitable distance or through audio-video recordings. The approach for
observations may be direct or indirect, structured or unstructured.

Importance of Network
 Troubleshooting is a form of problem solving, often applied to repair failed
products or processes on a machine or a system.
 It is a logical, systematic search for the source of a problem in order to solve it,
and make the product or process operational again.
 Troubleshooting is needed to identify the symptoms.
 Troubleshooting requires confirmation that the solution restores the product or process to
its working state.

Limitations of Network
 Users Are Complaining That The Internet Is Too Slow.
 One User Is Consuming Too Many Resources.

 Streaming Video is Choking the Network
