Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is an


autonomous body under the Ministry of H.R.D,
Government of India which was started way
back in 1965 for the benefit of the children of
transferable employees of the Government of
India 981 schools are located allover India
under 18 different regions with
it's headquarters in New Delhi. K.V.S
BANGALORE REGION is one among the 18
regions which connects 53 Kendriya Vidyalayas
dotted on the landscape of Karnataka(39),
Kerala(9)& Goa(5)..

MISSION OF KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA

The Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four - fold mission,


viz.,

1.To cater to the educational needs of children


of transferable Central Government including
Defence and Para-military personnel by
providing a common programme of education ;

2.To pursue excellence and set the pace in the


field of school education;

3.To initiate and promote experimentation and


innovations in education in collaboration with
other bodies like the Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National
Council of Educational Research and Training
(NCERT) etc. and

4.To develop the spirit of national integration


and create a sense of "Indianness" among
children.

KVS envisions itself a world class organization


in school education committed to continually
empowering teachers to actualize inside out
synergy in students and enable them to fulfill
futuristic societal, national and global needs
and aspirations.

Roles and Responsibilities - Principal


The principal, as the instructional leader of the
school, facilitates the process through which
instructional and media personnel cooperatively plan
and implement the educational program to meet
learner needs. This process combines the media and
instructional programs as the school community
moves toward common goals. In this role, the
principal:

- assures implementation of state and system


policies and procedures
- recommends qualified, service-oriented media
personnel for employment;
- provides opportunities to personnel to continue
professional growth;
- promotes cooperation with other informational
agencies such as public libraries, resource
centers, Educational Technology Training
Centers, etc
- maintains awareness of media program goals,
needs, and outcomes through regular
conferences with media personnel

QUES-What is going well and what is not going
well?

Ans-Students are enjoying the classroom


environment and all staff members are doing their
job happily and giving their full effort to teach
them.and something which can be said that it is
not going well is that there is some lack of
discipline in some students and they are taking the
advantage of teacher’s leniency.However in total it
is good.

QUES-What are some of success?Why?

Ans-On the basis of their merits in primary

high school bachelor of education.

Ans-Yes.

productive are the meetings?
Ans-Once in a month there is staff and parents
meeting.

QUES-Does the school work to resolve problems?


Ans-Yes what ever the issues are arise in
meetings the management should take proper
action to solve it.
QUES-Is there transparency?
Ans-Yes. There is transparency in the organisation
structure of flora school.
