This product can be upgraded with various options. Optionals or
functions, which are not part of the standard configuration, are
marked with a blue *.
General / Access to Key Operator Mode
This system has an integrated key operator mode which provides
individual adjustment possibilities. The operator mode allows to
make quick changes to system settings without the necessity of a
service call. It is generally one key operator, who is in charge of
this system management. The adjustments, which are available
in the key operator mode, cannot be changed by general users.
This manual contains detailed information, which you will need
as key operator for this system. As these explanations are only
intended for the key operator and not for the general user, we
suggest that you safeguard this manual and do not keep it close
to the machine.

There are two ways to access the key operator mode:

– Press the HELP key, and in the Help screen press Key-Ope
mode.

– If the machine is off:

– Switch the machine on, while pressing the HELP key.

Important!
Only ratios between 0.25 and 4.00 are available.

It is not advisable to change the six preset magnifications ratios.

Their values represent reduction and enlargement in DIN sizes
(e.g. 1.41 = A4 3 A3). Changing these ratios can result in faulty
copies.

9
4. Electronic Key Counter (EKC)
The electronic key counter (EKC) can be used to limit access to
the system to certain departments, users or key accounts. 128
counters are available. A copy limit can be programmed for each
key counter.
The EKC programming mode can only be accessed with the
special 8-digit EKC master code. This code is not displayed. If you
have entered a wrong number, press RETURN to return to the
key operator main screen; then repeat the access procedure,
entering the correct code.

allocated copy limit:
– If you select Immediately, a copy job in progress is
interrupted, if the copy limit for that password is reached.
– If you press After Job, a copy job in progress will be
completed after reaching the copy limit for the password.
After that, no further copying will be possible.
– The Warning setting will only display a user message on the
screen, that the copy limit for the password has been reached.
If the user code is entered again, further copying is possible
with this setting!
