Optional equipment list for Ship unloaders
1. Operator's cabin:
As standard the Siwertell ship unloader is equipped with radio remote control box.
An operator's cabin is mounted on a separate boom next to the horizontal boom providing a operational overview
and a conditioned working environment.

2. Auxiliary hoist: Requsted capacity (metric tons)

A hoist is positioned on the horizontal boom for the lifting of front end loaders/escavators/BobCats

3. Power supply:
3.1 Main power source
As standard, the Siwertell power supply is via a high voltage cable through a cable reel and transformer.
The following alternatives are available:

Onboard diesel generator: As Main power source.

Power plug: As Main power source.

3.2 Emergency/auxilary power source

A built-in diesel/petrol engine will provide auxiliary power to lift the vertical arm out of the ship’s hold in case of
power failure.

Auxilary/emergency power source for Onboard auxilary power source for slewing, travelling and
slewing and travelling: hoisting of the loading spout at reduced speed

Low voltage Power plug for emergency To supply emergency/auxilary power from a shore based
operation of slewing and travelling: source.

Auxilary/emergency power source for Power plug connection and a portable auxilary power source
slewing and travelling: for slewing, travelling and hoisting of the loading spout
at reduced speed.

4. Loading spout:
As standard, the Siwertell is designed for discharge to one jetty conveyor positioned parallel to the jetty.
Truck and rail car solutions are optional.
Emergency outlet only Used for continuous discharge
-for loading open trucks No. of spouts:
-for loading closed trucks No. of spouts:

-for loading open rail cars No. of spouts:

-for loading closed rail cars No. of spouts:

5. Discharge arrangement to jetty conveyor

As standard, the Siwertell is designed to unload to one jetty conveyor positioned parallel to the jetty.
It is possible to choose alternatives from the options below:

- for loading to open conveyors No. of conveyors:

- for loading to closed conveyors No. of conveyors:

(by cover belt)

- for loading to closed conveyors No. of conveyors:

(by other cover)

- for loading to fixed points No. of conveyors:

6. Tilt function

A hydraulic cylinder operated side tilt function of the upper turret providing extended reach of the vertical arm
underneath hatch coamings and in hold corners. This option is only available on some models of the
Siwertell continuous ship unloader. Ask Siwertell for further advice.

7. HMI System:

The equipment can be equipped with SIMON, HMI-system, which is providing immediate access to trouble
shooting, analyzing tool for problem solving, maintenance program, maintenance log book, manuals,
drawings, storage of historical data of equipment performance and operation follow up. The extended
communications module provides advanced communication via fiber optic cable and additional software.

SIMON HMI System: Extended communication module:

8. Lubrication system:

Automatic replenishment of grease to each individual grease lubricator through a barrel pump.

9. Clean-up unit:
The Clean-up unit is an attachment to the vertical conveyor which enables final cleaning of the residue cargo
with low dust emission and limited need for use of front end loaders or BobCats.
The preparation kit includes; calculation and dimensioning of the equipment to carry the extra weight from
the unit, preparation of the hydraulic and electrical systems, pipe work and cabling installed. The actual
Clean-up unit can be ordered later or immediately (complete delivery). The Clean-up unit is suitable for
cement or free-flowing materials like grain or granules.
The Clean-uo unit is only availbale some Siwertell continuous ship unloaders
Ask Siwertell for further advice.

- preparation only

- complete delivery

10. Rubber wheel arrangement:

The unloader can be equipped with a rubber wheel arrangement where there is no existing rail on the jetty and / or
there is the requirement to move the unloader from the jetty or a need to change the position for unloading the ship.
The self-propelled unloader is in these cases equipped with diesel generators. This option is available on smaller
sizes of unloaders only.
