The final project is a mixed-use development focused on reducing the heat island effect by using technologies
studied during the semester and utilized in previous assignments. Students will be graded based on their ability to
incorporate the concepts studied on P1: Site analysis and recordings, code research, the project integration with the
site and Shoal Creek, the relationship with the adjacent buildings and different scales in the skyline, building
program solution, maximize FAR, as well as the application of green design strategies.
