 INTRODUCTION
FILMCITY AT BHOPAL
Film City is an integrated film studio complex. It has several recording rooms, gardens,
lakes, theaters and grounds that serve as the venue of many Bollywood film shootings.
Filmcity a world of wonder. A world where you can put your imagination to the test
and shoot out your thoughts. Over the last hundred years, the Indian Film Industry has
grown by leaps and bounds and has undergone amazing technological changes.

Outdoor locations in the quietly beauty of the land and its sylvan surrounding has lush
green expanses and span stretching far several kilometers. The natural contours are
interspersed between Hills and Forests and frilled by the beautiful artificial lake.
Perhaps no other studios complex has such natural spots, such as gardens, lakes, Dense
forests, hills, valleys, helipad and wide open spaces.

LOCATION

vast potential.the pure passion then discovered manifested itself into the largest film
producing nation of the world. The entertainment industry has created employment
potential for over four millions people. With growth, came technology. India sourced
its technological requirement the best in the world and created and created ,creative and
technological services, comparable with the best ,in the world. Within india, Mumbai
has a pride of place in the entertainment industry. Over 60% of indian motion pictures,
 television serials ans commercials are produced in Mumbai and in filmcity has share of
30% of above work related to film production.

Justification

It is a live project proposed by department of culture, Madhya Pradesh, India. The

department wanted to create a common for art, theatre and cinema. The department
wanted to set up a training centre in cinematography, video editing, studios, dress and
fashion designing facilities, necessary cutting edge technology and other technical
facilities. They also wanted to create a acting school a star category hotel and parks to
attracts indian as well as foreign film makers. The proposed site is far from the crowded
city, it is easily accessible from any point in the city and is in close proximity from the
domestic and international airports.

Aims

I will create a world class filmcity. The facilities of the filmcity will also be world class and

The services also.

The city Bhopal is famous for its natural beauty and for the culture of the city. The city is a

Tourist attraction because of its natural beauty. But by this new project in city it will be

Famous for its another creation and the this filmicity will give the city a new tourist attraction.

And some other aims of the film city are-

 To develop the tourist sector in Bhopal

 Providing Bollywood tourism
 Bringing the studio complex on par with internationally well known complexes
 Transform Bhopal in every way
 An opportunity to study and experience of a filmcity and their working.
 oppportunity to detail out the interior spaces as different type workspaces and studios
 Creating an environment conductive for filmcity in sight specialization area like
studios, sets, outdoor spaces.
Objectives

The main purpose of film city would be providing a Bollywood attraction to Bhopal.
And offering Bhopal a new acting school for the people. providing world class quality
education to the aspirants for the entire gamut of Media & Entertainment industry
related courses, covering all major specializations like Acting, Modelling, Radio
Jockey, Event Management ,Dancing ,Singing , Direction and Scriptwriting.

Proposed site

The exiting site is near the CRPF unit at Bagroda village near Bhopal. The area of site is 430
acres.the client of the project is the department of culture, Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal has a humid
subtropical climate, with mild, dry winters, a hot summer and a humid monsoon
season. Bhopal is known as the city of lakes for its various natural as well as artificial lakes
and is also one of the greenest cities in India;
