The teacher discuss the seven(7) teaching strategies related
principles of teaching learning.

1. Learning is an active process


- We to have actively engaged the learners in
learning activities if we want them to learn what we intend to
teach.

2. The more sense that are involved in learning, the more and
Analysis the better learning.
- What is seen and heard is learned more than
what is just seen or just heard. It said that we learn more with
what we see than what we simply hear.

3. Non- Threatening atmosphere enhances learning


- A non-threatening classroom atmosphere is
not only a function of the physical condition of the classroom
but more a function of the psychological climate.

4. Emotion has the power to increase retention and learning


- We tend to remember and learn more those
that strike our hearts.

5. Learning is meaningful when it is connected to student's


everyday life
- In teaching we need to relate our topic in the
student's everyday life. Let the students to express themselves
in class. Avoid the Banking System of education which means
that the teacher only store information and do not accept the
idea of the students.

6. Teachng goes beyond recall of information


- Most teaching are confined to recall of
information and comprehension. Ideally, our teaching should
reach the levels of application , analysis, synthesis and
evaluation to hone our student's thinking skills.

7. Teaching considers learner's varied learning styles and


learner's multiple intellegences.
- There are many learning styles in the
classroom.
