Engineering team focuses on developing new concepts and user experiences through rapid

We are looking for a Data Scientist that will be responsible for discover the information hidden in
TB amounts of data from multiple internal and external sources.
You will be responsible to make smarter decisions to deliver even better products. Your primary
focus will be in applying ML / data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building
high quality prediction systems integrated with our products.

Responsibilities:

As a Data Scientist on our team, you will be responsible for driving analysis and models
resulting in measurable improvements to our bottom line.

➤ Collaborate with colleagues from multidisciplinary science, engineering and business

backgrounds

➤ Work with engineers to put recommendations/proof-of-concepts/models into production and

monitor impact

➤ Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques

➤ Data mining using state-of-the-art methods

➤ Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed
➤ Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.

➤ Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner

➤ Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
Skills and Qualifications

➤ Have worked on Deep learning Models/ Image processing

➤ Candidate should explain their projects where they have used the deep learning techniques
and the impact ( this should be mentioned in their Cv)

➤ Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN,

Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.

➤ Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Weka, Python, NumPy, MatLab,
etc

➤ Experience with data visualisation tools, such as D3.js, GGplot, etc.

➤ Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig {{actual list depends on what
you are currently using in your company}}

➤ Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase will be a plus

➤ Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.

➤ Good scripting and programming skills

➤ 2-4 years of relevant experience

➤ Preferably graduate from IIT / other tier 1 institutions
