finished. After 2 years of his serving he was very successful and doing her job well. He had a wife named
Teresa and have 2 children, the youngest one is Kobe a high school student and the older one is Gianna 4 th
year college engineering. ’Yvan Dela Cruz got a message came from the mansion a letter from the president
and it says the he was promoted as chief general of the Philippines and also a private security of the
president.

his wife is very proud of him . He got already his new promotion and work for the president, as time and
days go by general Yvan got busy and he was not even notice that his family also want her time and
attention. Yvan always doing his job everyday even his two son are mad at him. Gianna his older son will be
graduate tomorrow.

Gianna confront his father that will be the one to put his medal and promise the he will be there. The
graduation is fast approaching, Gianna is very excited because finally his father will put his medal, Yvan call

regret that he didn’t go this graduation but he always doing his best to recover from his sin. He talked to his
wife that he was a big surprise to Gianna.

His father buy him a branded car just Gianna to be happy. Kobe shocked when he hear that it came from his
father. He was very sorry for all those he say to his father. He got this license but father talked to him that
be careful always and eyes always on the road.

Gianna got his new job in new Zealand, he got this new project, he was very excited and afraid also that
maybe his project will not be proven. Teresa didn’t allowed Gianna to go there because she will be lonely .

After 3 days Gianna will be saying goodbye to his parents he travel 7 hours and stayed in new Zealand 2

General Yvan doesn’t know that his younger son enters fraternity that sells drugs on teenagers and adults.
Kobe is his younger 18 years old, lately her mother notice that he arrived at the home late. Principal of their
school call his mother because of this issue that he always skipping on school and his grades are very low.

own son. Teresa didn’t do anything but to watch and cry to her own son in prison. ‘ why do you do this to us
Kobe are we that bad parents to you?’ Teresa said, Kobe couldn’t talk to his mother because in himself also
he regret it.

General Yvan reported that those teenagers were the one who all drugs. The entire citizen shocked that the
son of General Dela Cruz is a drug addict. General Yvan facing a big problem to his family, he didn’t notice
that his family had really big problem and even he cannot do anything just to solve it.

He didn’t do anything to his family he always focusing into his job, Entertain those people who needed him
but even his families problem he cant fix it. General Dela Cruz talked to the President that he will be leave
for a month to fix his family problem especially to his son Kobe. Mr. President forgive general Dela Cruz his
explanation gave him his permission to leave. After all those papers he fixed it immediately and fight the
battle of Kobe to the court.

General Dela Cruz helped his son to get out in the prison they get their own lawyer and do the best for Kobe.

They were facing a big problem to their son and the only way to save Kobe is to tell the truth. Kobe admit
that he is one who sells drug and also taking drugs but he blame his father because he didn’t take care of
his family the only important for him is his job. Kobe blaming and blaming his father.” I even not do this if
you will be the father to us Kobe said. General Dela Cruz cried a lot and apologize to his son , “I’m very sorry
son this all my fault” general Dela Cruz said.
Dela cruz get out on the court room and cried a lot this wife, “I’m sorry hon this was all my fault if I only took
focused on you and our son this could not be happen”. General Dela Cruz didn’t give up even though Kobe
was be arrested for 5years he continue his policeman but the will not forget his family anymore.

Kobe accept to be in the prison, Teresa always visiting Kobe and get him some foods to eat. General Dela
Cruz continue work hard just to sustain his family, he also visiting Kobe to the prison. Kobe talked to his
general Dela Cruz do the same thing.

After all those circumstances general Dela Cruz found out that his wife had a cancer in liver. Before the day
that general found out, Teresa was afraid to tell them because her husband also busy fighting for their son.
Teresa felt something that he couldn’t explain what she was felt. She immediate go to doctor and examine if
she had a cancer . “ positive Ms. Dela Cruz “ she cried and cried until her husband notice him that she was
very emotional. “ are you okay hon”? yes I am , “ said Teresa.

After those lies general talked to his wife “ why didn’t you tell me? She cry and cry until she was attacked by
her cancer. Her husband immediately rush her to the hospital. Teresa’s cancer get worse stage 4 and he got
few days to live. General Dela Cruz convince the doctor to that their best to his wife to live. He didn’t know
what he would do if he lost wife, he is the one who gives him strength everyday.

Teresa family prayed for him she fight but he didn’t make it. The doctor said that she died at exactly 2:40 in
the morning, general Dela Cruz was aching because of he found out that his wife died. Their family didn’t
know what to do but to accept the reality. General Dela Cruz felt like his heart crashed because his wife
gone. Gianna immediately pack this things and go home, he also cant believe about his mother. Kobe
receive a letter to his father about their mother buried and also he cant believe that their mother died. Kobe
and Gianna are very emotional and also they regret because they have much time to their mother before
this alive.

For a meanwhile Kobe set free in prison for its mother burial. Gianna also arrive early and cried a lot in front
of his mother’s coffin. Kobe realize that his mother hide something in the cabinet, he found it and real all
those letters. Kobe give those letter to his father, general Dela Cruz cant read it because he was emotional
and cant believe of his wife. General Dela Cruz facing another problem and that is on how he can handle his
two son himself only. But the presence of his wife is always there he can do it even she died already.

(3 days after the burial)

Their house full of memories to their mother, even those letters wrote by their mother they kept it and they
used it as a inspiration to their family. General Dela Cruz continue his work as a policeman even though
there are so many problems and challenges that they were facing. Kobe also back to the prison, but Gianna
remain to their and never back in new Zealand because he want to stay in their house. General Dela Cruz
wanted to find a wife, but Gianna ignore it because he want to secure and safety of his father and also his
bother Kobe.
General Dela Cruz awarded his 32nd medal for being a true and independent policeman. He realize his wife
“honey if you were in here you will be proud of me. General Dela Cruz always visit his wife in the cemetery
and bring him flowers. Every time that general Dela Cruz visit he always talked what is going on and what
are the problem that he cant do if Teresa will always there in his side. General Dela Cruz never give up and
do the best for family.

One day general Dela Cruz asked Gianna to join him into the cemetery to visit their mother. They visit also
Kobe in the prison. general is very happy that he could that he could cry for joy because even their mother
lost in their arms they can feel that their mother always guiding them. Kyle apologize to his father and
brother “if hadn’t just done it mom wouldn’t have been sick” Kyle said. “son you don’t have to blame
yourself always remember that mother loves us and no matter happen don’t never give up” general Dela
Cruz replied. Gianna invite his father and brother. But the problem is Kobe isn’t yet go out in the prison.
Gianna do everything just to be with them so he prepare some dinner in the prison and he invited all those
people in there and they eat all together and have some fun.

Friday morning general Dela Cruz went to Kobe lawyer to meet up what are the updates of his cases.
Suddenly his lawyer had a good news. Good news: Kobe case is already approve by the law and maybe 2 to
3 years he will be free in prison. General Dela Cruz is very happy because sooner or later he will be with her
son. Kobe was very excited by what he heard, and he couldn’t wait to be with his father and older sister.
Kobe also want to visit his mom because he never visited it after the burial. He miss mom already and he
wanted to give her mom those letters that he wrote and read from it.

Gianna find his ideal women and he introduced it to his father. “I thought you wouldn’t look a girl son?”
general Dela Cruz asked. “ dad shhhh”, and they both laugh. General Dela Cruz was very excited to have a
grandchild and took care from it. General Dela Cruz talked to Gianna fiancée, “ please take of my son love
him you will love her how her mom loves her”. “I will uncle”. After that they have their dinner and sent
home his fiancée.

Kobe was released from prison and his father fetched him and Kobe has only one favor for his father, is that
to visit his mom. General Dela Cruz took his soon into cemetery and bring flowers to their mom. Kobe
confront his father that he wanted to help his dad were to find those drug dealers and drug users. General
Dela Cruz immediately made a way to arrest those people and he was very proud of his son that he told
everything about those people who are addicted to drugs.

General went to the president and talked about those drug dealers and drug addict that Kobe knows were
they hide. Kobe tell everything, they search and arrest those criminals that sells illegal product. Kobe also
knew those who are the source or we called it drugs lords. He list all those names that familiar with one of
them is general Mendoza and chief executive Brandon. Kobe mentioned also that they are using those fish
vendors to sell drugs in one of their clients in Cebu. Suddenly those criminal knew that Kobe and wanted to
kill them. General Dela Cruz double the security of Kobe for his safety, his father is very afraid because it
might kill his son and he don’t want anyone to lose his son gone.
General and his team doing their best to arrest both drug lords. Eventually general Mendoza was caught but
chief executive Brandon escape, they could not be caught. General’s team didn’t give up to search and find
him and the good news is those teenager’s were victim are saved by the policeman. Kobe was proud of his
father because their mission was not field even thought the other drug lord escape but they continue find
him. Mr. president gave general Dela Cruz a tribute for the success of their mission to arrest those criminals.

Gianna a very important to tell to his father. He wanted to propose to his fiancée, if his father want to.
General Dela Cruz surprise that his son Gianna walking toward and hold his hands. “ daddy I have
something to tell you, I want to marry my fiancée.” His father was very happy and also emotional because
his son will no longer to be with him. Gianna hugged his father and said” dad I will be always her for you
even if your hair whites “. Please take care always son if you need me I will always be here for you” his
father replied. Knowing that his son build a family, the only left from is his soon Kobe.

General Dela Cruz wear his best suit for Gianna’s wedding, he also wear his medals and badges. Many
policeman salute’s Gianna wedding and it was very memorable event. The bride and the groom are
officially husband and wife, they went to the reception and enjoy the party. General Dela Cruz was
emotional of his message to the couple he realize the wedding of his wife. Gianna and his wife get more
inspired of their father’s message and they used it as a guide to their romance. Everyone seems to enjoy to
the couple and also he sang in front of everyone.

It was reported on the news that their was a virus that are spreading in the Philippines. The president
immediately call general Dela Cruz about the news on the NCOV or the Noval Corona Virus that are
spreading and people are afraid that it might be infect all people in the Philippines. Mr. President ordered
that he and his team have to check all airports and busses to people traveling came from Chinas or
everywhere outside the Philippines.

They were task that to prevent NCOV people have to wear mask and wash their hands before they touch
someone. General dela cruz and team secure also Filipinos who are came from other places that maybe
they were infected too. Every body required to wear mask for their safety. If it fake or not, general Dela Cruz
continue to secure people.

One of the doctors in the Adventist medical hospital called general Dela Cruz that they have the symptoms
that can kill the virus. General Dela Cruz immediately called Mr. President about this good news. Mr.
president ordered general Dela Cruz to spread the news and wait for those people who were infected in the
virus.

Mr. president agreed and approved their research about having a symptoms to kill the virus. General Dela
Cruz called on urgent meeting to his team,” every airports and busses will continue to secure and check all
passengers but all the people in the Philippines “. He and his team started to guard all airports and
passengers. They also make check points in very city in the Philippines motors, tracks, other transportation
and also drivers are checking for safety of everyone.

2 months later Finally chief executive Brandon was been arrested he already give up himself in the prison.
And Mr. president announces that the virus was gone and people are safe now. People can breathe and can
do all things. General Dela Cruz gave his team a round of applause for a job well done. General Dela Cruz
deserve his position he was a great policeman that save and arrest those criminals in the Philippines. Gianna
and Kobe were so proud of their father that protect and secure those people who needed and who are in
need.

Gianna forced his father to fixed his retirement paper stayed at home and take a break in work. Gianna is
worrying about his father because he always at work he didn’t take good care of his health Gianna wanted
his father to take a break from work and enjoy his relaxing routine in their house.

General perez went to his wife burial. He asked his wife if he will pursue his retirement. He cried a lot and
realize if he will retire what will happen to those people who need him. He realize also that his sons needed
him especially to Kobe . Rave talked to his dad that whatever happen is get retire or not he will support his
father. Kyle find job to helped also his father. General Dela Cruz think so deep if he will pursue it.
Fellow policeman of general forced him not to leave because they were so many job to finish and criminals
to arrest. General Dela Cruz overthink he if he will choose to stay or leave.

General Dela Cruz think if he would make it or continue serve the Philippines. Kobe also worried about his
father because his father always late going home and tired already. Kobe want his father to take care of
him but his father doesn’t want to. Gianna and Kobe convince their father to take a break and take good
care of his body and health because he is so very weak, and they could see in his eyes that he was very tired.

General Dela Cruz realize that his son was right he need to take a break from work and take good care of
health. He went to the president and talked about his retirement paper if the president will approve his
retirement. After 2days general Dela Cruz receive an email from Mr. president that his retirement paper his
been approved. He told his two son the he continue his retirement paper.

Gianna helped his father about that and after an hour general Dela Cruz keep his things and ready to leave.
His fellow police prepared something for him, they prepared a farewell party for their general. General Dela
Cruz was very emotional and also happy that he work those people who are truly dedicated to their job.

He promise to his fellow policeman that if ever there is anything problem in their station he will always be
ready for them. “your new general will be good to your if not tell me I will arrest him” general said. They
were laughing of what he say, “ do your job, love your job and also do the best you can do”. His fellow
policeman salute him.
After the farewell party general Dela Cruz got his last medal to Mr. president he was inspired by wife to his
medal. General Dela Cruz wasn’t the best policeman even though he had a lot of problems he were facing he
always look on the bright side. He never forget god and always praying for the safe of their family even
though his wife was lost.
He never thought that he would make it till the end with a pure heart and pure mind. General Dela Cruz take
good care of his health and always visit his wife on the cemetery.

General wanted to thank the president for helping him through his journey. Many people he helped and
serve just for their secure in all time. Few people also thank him for his dedicated in his job, and also many
children idolize him, especially his two son. Teresa is very proud of her for his everything he did to the people
even though Teresa died. General dela Cruz wanted peace and order for the people, so he doing his best to
serve them.

Kobe got his new job and forget those times that he were addicted to drug. Everything in life is temporary.
So if things are going good, enjoy it because it won't last forever. And if things are going bad, don't worry. It
can't last forever either. Kobe do the best for him even in good and in bad he always remain strong and
change his self to the people who love him the most. Gianna and his wife got their new baby, and general
Dela cruz wishes come true that he will be a grandfather. General Dela Cruz visit and visit his wife even
though his two sons were busy of their works. General Dela cruz is not general anymore he is a good father
and a grandfather to his children. Even though Teresa was not always there beside him but he knew that his
wife always guiding him. General Dela Cruz continue serving those people but not in a police suit but a
normal and respectful man. General Dela Cruz thought that even if these problem we are facing we can beat
it by our own self we can win it by our own ways. God can restore what is broken and change it into
amazing. All you need is faith. General Dela Cruz change his big problem into a an amazing one he didn’t put
his self into the fire that can burn him he put his self into the light that will change him.
