Exit Evaluation

Project BUKAS
(Best Utilized Knowledge Appraisal System)
To gather the sense and meaning of everything that has been done for the
School to School Partnership Program, an exit evaluation was done in December.

The Program Implementation Team, represented by the school heads and the
focal persons, joined the District Exit Evaluation of the program. A five-minute Audio-
Visual Presentation was shown to present everything that transpired during the
program execution.

Mr.Joel Lubis, district supervisor, commended the performance of the two

schools. He emphasized that the program should continue as it made an impact to the
reading ability and classroom performance of the students.

Likewise, the Work and Financial Plan and Action Plan were also evaluated.
From the assessment, the team agreed that all the activities were achieved although
scheduling was really challenging. The two schools were one in believing that the
program may be continued so as not to waste the fruits that the partnership have given.

Benchmarking
Project BATA
(Best Applied Techniques and Alternatives)

One of the ways the leader school can share with the partner school is through
benchmarking. Teachers from San Pablo Elementary School once again visited
MSVES for that purpose.
Two of the best practices shown are the putting up of reading corners and the
strategies used in teaching. The SPES teachers moved room to room to see every
reading center. Some ideas gain include word wall and a variety of reading materials.

After going around, the group saw the class of one of the MSVES teachers. Mrs.
Lerna D. Alcayde demonstrated a lesson in English. She showed an established class
routine part of which are the use of hand signals, claps, transition songs or rest
exercises, and a certain technique to call up students’ attention.

The demonstration was followed by a group discussion. The teachers talked

about how the class went and gladly, the teachers from the partner school recognized
what Mrs. Alcayde did in her class. It was hoped that whatever was learned would be
applied upon their return to their respective classes.
