The Tale of the Moon and the Sun

Long time ago, the earth was considered the ugliest place throughout universe; there were no
plants, no light, and no life. The god decided to send two brightest, powerful creatures, the
Moon and the Sun to ornate the earth with light. They became the leader of the holy sky, the
guider who control the sea, and the protector of our earth. However, the power of them were
distributed unequally that, even when the moon was named as the second powerful creature,
she became nothing when comparing to her husband, the Sun.

At first, the couple went on pretty well; they both worked assiduously, to change this dreadful
planet. It was the Moon that came up with the ideas of “plants”, she asked for the Sun’s power
to create them and the Sun agreed. Suddenly, the earth was cover with colors and softness of
grass, it was like a blessing from the god, and the god was pleased by the idea of “plants”.

Every day the grass thanks to the sun for giving them life; but they never thanks moon for
having the idea. The moon stayed silently. Every day, the trees thanks to the sun for giving
them power; but they never thank the moon for anything. The moon stayed silently, and was
ignored again. Every day, the flower thanks sun for giving them beauty, and this time, they don’t
even get the chance to notice moon. The sun gets brighter and brighter; it feels like the moon
had never existed while staying behind the sun. The moon now feels extremely bad to be

One day, the moon refused to go home with sun and chose to stay on earth alone a little while.

The darkness fell in love with moon on the first sight and was willing to do anything that pleased
the moon. The moon liked the darkness too, when staying besides him, she looked as bright as
the sun. Darkness ask the moon why is she so unhappy, and the moon told him the reason why.
The darkness came up with the idea to create humans, who were born to be terrified by
darkness. He asked the moon to show up the second day, and the moon did. The moon heard
the appreciation of human and felt like she was now almost as important and powerful as the
sun.

From that day on, the moon decided to divorce with the sun, and married darkness who can
really sacrifice himself to bring up the beauty of the moon.
