UZ - B Casing Heads

Type UZ-B Casing Head housing are furnished, as standard, with two
threaded outlets or flanged studded outlets, and have full-opening
vertical bores meeting dimensional requirements of the API-6A .
The UZ-B housing is available with API female casing thread forms
or slip-on weld casing connection. Slip-on weld version have a ½”NPT
test port .
The UZ-B Casing Head accepts only type UZ-B casing hanger .

UZ - 22 Casing Heads

Type UZ-22A Casing Head has a versatile straight design that can
accept a wide variety of slip and mandrel casing hangers (standard
UZ-22 casing hanger).
Type UZ-22B Casing Head bowl is identical to the UZ-22A with the
addition of 2 specially lock-screws for bowl protector retention .
Type UZ-22C Casing Head bowl is identical to the UZ-22A except it
may be slightly deeper to permit the use of lock-screws to retain the
slip-type casing hanger or a mandrel casing hanger pack-off .
Outlets : line pipe or flanged studded with valve removal thread on
request.

The types UZ-22 and UZ-29 Casing Hangers are of similar design with
different support capacities. The UZ-22 can support maximum 50% of
the casing joint strength, while the UZ-29 can support 90%.
Both wrap-around styles are designed as single pre-assembled units to
ensure ease of installation and operation. They are designed for
general service and are compatible with UZ-22 and UZ-29 casing head
and casing spool.
Heavy-duty latch and hinge design creates a reliably strong and stable
structure after closing.
On UZ-29 hangers, two sets of slips distribute the casing weight to
ensure stronger support for extreme casing heads
Guide ring slip maintains slip alignment during installation and
operation.
Pack-off is automatically energized with casing weight.
Both casing hangers accommodate the full API tolerance range for
casing O.D.
Special casing hangers for nonstandard casing O.D. sizes are
available upon request.

Type UZ-21 Casing Hanger


The UZ-21 Casing Hanger with UZ-21 seal pack-off is a split, UZ - 21
segmented, wrap-around casing hanger used for shallow wells with Casing Hanger
light casing loads that do not require an annular seal prior to
removing the BOP and cutting the casing.
The UZ-21 seal pack-off is designed to be installed after the casing
has been landed, cut off and dressed. The pack-off serves as the
primary seal when the next spool is installed.
The UZ-21 casing hanger with UZ-21 seal pack-off can not be used
in UZ-22 or UZ-29 casing bowls due to the presence of retainer pins or
lock-screws in the seal interface.
UZ-21 casing hanger accommodates the full API tolerance range for
casing O.D.
Non-standard casing O.D. sizes are available upon request.

Casing Hanger
Type UZ-21-M Casing Hanger
The UZ-21-M type Casing Hanger is designed for use over mudline
suspension systems or when sufficient casing weight is not available to
energize UZ-22 or UZ-29 automatic casing hanger seal.
The packoff seal is energized when the compression cap screws in
the top of the hanger and or lockscrewes are tightened as required.
Are capable of supporting 50% of the casing joint strenght.

Type UZ-B Casing Hanger


UZ - B
Type UZ-B Casing Hanger suspension units are installed only in the Casing Hanger
UZ-B Casing Heads and UZ-B Casing Spool.
These casing slips are hinged assemblies having a simple latch pin
allowing the assembly to be closed around the casing and lowered
through preventers.
The packing assembly contains two identical packing supports
and the double slip seal rubber packing.
It utilizes differential pressure to assure a positive seal while its
effectiveness does not depend either on a manually adjusted high
preload or a suspended casing loads.
This packing has sufficient radial compression to obtain a low-
pressure differential seal.
UZ-B casing hanger accommodates the full API tolerance range
for casing O.D.
Non-standard O.D sizes are available upon request.

UZ-B Secondary Seal is inserted in the bottom bowl of casing spool or


tubing spool and retained with a snap wire.
The seal is energized when the spool is installed over the casing stub
and the flange connection is made up.

UZ-IS Secondary Seal is a rubber seal with two metal anti-extrusion

Chokes

UZTEL offers a performance adjustable and positive choke,


designed and manufactured in accordance with API 6A, the 17 Th
edition.
Positive beans, adjustable choke needles and seats are furnished
in tungsten carbide on request to prevent the damages caused by
abrasive and corrosive fluids.
Adjustable choke needles may be field-converted to a positive
choke with also possibility to modify the operating range through
exchange of seats.
Every adjustable choke is equipped with a visible orifice indicating
the mechanism to define the orifice area.
This mechanism is calibrated to indicate the diameter of circular
orifices having area equivalents to the minimum flow areas. The
markings are in 1/64” diametrical increments. To assure and lock the
stem in the required position, the adjustable chokes are provided with
a locking stud.
Minimum field maintenance required; shop repairs simplified;
spare parts available; needle and seats interchangeable.

Description and operation:


The seats are fully floating, combined with a solid slab gate to give a true downstream seal resulting in low
operating forces. Being fully symmetrical it will effectively seal pressure without risk of blockage. Metal-to-
metal seal between gate and seats. Special gasket on back groove of seats. Full metal-to-metal seats are
available on request (metallic back seat gasket). Gate and seat replacement is possible, with the valve in line,
without the need for special tools. Upper and lower thrust bearings isolated from well fluid, minimizing torque.
Stem packing can be re-energized with valve under pressure. Stem packing TFE glass and carbon filled and
soft packing. Alternative stem packing special gasket with internal spring. The valve body may be grease filled
through suitable fittings provided on body. To close valve rotate the hand-wheel clockwise, gate moves
downward, strikes the body; then rotate the hand-wheel clockwise half turn to permit a free moving of gate
pressure. To open valve, rotate the hand-wheel counter-clockwise until strikes the bonnet. Floating seats assure
valve seal in either open or closed position

Surface Safety Valves
SSV 811 & SSV 813 series

Surface safety valves , SSV 811 & SSV 813 are designed to close
automatically when control pressure is released. The actuator may be
pneumatic (air or gas) or hydraulic version.
Operating pressure applied to the piston forces the stem and gate
downword to the open position. When operating pressure is vented
an actuator spring will close the valve (spring design assure complete
closure with zero line pressure).
Can be used with wing valve, secondary master, flowlines,
pipeline valves or any where automatic actuator control of gate
valves is required.
All parts are made for maximum resistance to corrosion in salt air
and may be also ordered for H2S, CO2 applications.

- Standard geothermal wellhead system SGWS incorporates an expansion spool


design which permits a minimum full 14” casing expansion as standard.
- The spool may also be equipped with a third, angled outlet to provide access for

The pumping Head is designed to seal the well transferred to Dual packing polished
