METHODOLOGY

Research Design

In this study the researcher chose the comparative research as the design, where

the data are gathered initially by observation, and the aim is to identify how many and the

length of the roots are in the mango cutting of two group.

The comparative research design is chosen to meet the objectives of the study,

namely to know the efficiency of aloe vera pulp and honey as rooting agent in

comparison to commercially made rooting agent. The efficiency of aloe vera pulp and

honey as rooting agent that identify by observing the cuttings that will be applied to grow

roots. The outcome of using aloe vera pulp and honey and the commercialized rooting

hormone will be compared.

The Materials

The materials in this study the materials will be used are Aloe vera pulp, Honey,

Green lemon cuttings, Garden soil, Plastic cups. The leaves of the raw materials were

obtained from Concepcion, Tarlac.

Apparatus

This research used 200ml beaker, 50ml beaker, stirring rod, mortar and pestle

The Procedure

The procedure will be used to obtain the valid and appropriate result of the study

will be presented in this chapter. Experimental Research Design will be used in this

study. Specifically, this study will apply a two group design to arbitrate the Aloe Vera

Pulp and Honey as Rooting Hormone for Green Lemon Cuttings. The experimental group
will be applied with aloe vera pulp and honey while the control group without aloe vera

pulp and honey. The T-test is used to determine the significant difference between the

two.

The Gathering Data Technique

The data gathering technique on the Aloe Vera Pulp and Honey as Rooting

Hormone for Green Lemon Cuttings is through observation and comparing the significant

difference of the two, with the use of camera for taking pictures.

Biostatistical Treatment

The researchers used t-test to identify the two variable means which differ

significant.
