Credits can be accumulated in the following ways:
1. Wallet Credits as an incentive to Partners for acquiring new customers:
Criteria: New customers on-boarded by Partners on their own (without any support from
Zoho in lead generation)
Offer: 25% of the first year contract value with a minimum of US$ 300 and a maximum of
US$ 3000 per transaction

Offer conditions:
1. The lead should have been generated by the Partner without any support from Zoho
2. The credits are awarded only when a customer purchases any product in the Zoho
portfolio for the first time. Credits will not be awarded if an existing customer buys another
product of Zoho (cross sell)
3. Credits can't be encashed
4. Wallet credits will be added to the Partner's account only after the payment is completed
and the customer is on-boarded successfully

2. Earned Wallet credits to Partner's customers
Criteria: Customers who switch to/opt-in for annual pricing mode.
Offer: The wallet credit value will be 12% of invoice value capped at US$1,000 per
transaction.
Here there are 2 possibilities:
Scenario 1: Partner customers who pay directly to Zoho via their store: The credits will be
added to the wallet of the customers and they can use them, whenever they want, for all
eligible transactions. The partner will be paid the due commission (on the net value of the
invoice) basis existing contractual arrangements.

(*) - Customers can purchase a new products (except Zoho One) using earned credits and have the
option (only if validity exists) to continue for renewal / add on/ edition upgrade / plan upgrade until
they updates the card info.
Scenario 2: Customers for whom the partner pays to Zoho and then re-invoices to the
customers: The credits will be added to the wallet of the Super Admin. In most cases, the
partner updates the email id of the customer as the Super Admin and hence the customer
will be able to use the credits for all their eligible transactions.
FYI, these credits can be used only by the Super Admins of the customer for the eligible
transactions within their organization.
Offer conditions:
1. Partners cannot interchange the usage of the credits earned by one customer with the
other
2. Like always, the credits can only be used for purchasing new products (excluding Zoho
One), edition upgrades, switch from free edition to paid edition
3. The Wallet Credits cannot be encashed or transferred to another customer under any
circumstances

some of you wanted to know if the credits can be purchased by Partners and used for their
Business Development purposes, unfortunately we are not yet ready to open this up. We
will keep you posted as and when we are ready to release this option.
