The aim of the course is to give all delegates the basic knowledge and skills required to prevent fires and how to
extinguish them. Our purpose-built multi-storey steel fire unit, fitted with simulated shipboard compartments, is
used for live fire training.
This STCW 2010 course provides both a practical and theoretical mixture of training which includes:
The course is also included in our STCW Basic Safety Training Week.
NOTE: Delegates undergoing fire fighting training will be required to complete and sign a confidential medical
declaration to make us aware of any health problems, disabilities or injuries that we may need to take into
account whilst attending this physically demanding course. It is therefore essential that delegates feel healthy
and are physically fit to undertake such training.
Certification
On successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF)
certificate approved by the Liberian Registry, the world’s largest quality registry.
