 HX011 850 Emergency Cart

Summary
This manual applies to the HX011-850 series, including the safe use of the emergency cart,
precautions, functional descriptions and maintenance information. The drawing of this
manual is for the user's reference only. In actual use, please refer to the actual product.

Part 1 Application and Safety Precautions

A. Scope of application
The product is suitable for hospitals, welfare recuperation institutions and other
departments.
B. Safe Use Precautions
 Be sure to read this Safe Use Precautions carefully before use so as to use the
product properly.
 If the operation is not performed in accordance with the instructions for the safe use
of the product, the product may be damaged.
 The cart top surface is equipped with soft glass, during use, please be sure to lay soft
glass on the top surface, so as to prevent drug side leakage which will cause
corrosion to the top surface.
 During use, the emergency cart should be braked to make it fixed. When moving the
emergency cart, the brake should be released first, so as to prevent damage to the
universal wheels.
 If turning the central lock before the drawers are closed tightly, the drawers will not be
able to be locked, and the central lock will be damaged.
 When closing the drawer, make sure the body is outside the drawer, so as to prevent
squashing.
 The back of the emergency cart is equipped with power cord. After use, switch off the
power in time, and pull out the plug, so as to prevent leakage, electric shock and so
on.
 Do not make the emergency cart collide violently with other objects so as to avoid
damage.
 Avoid prolonged contact with corrosive liquids, so as not to shorten the service life of
the product.
 Repairs must be maintained by personnel approved by the factory.
 The emergency cart has no obvious electromagnetic interference or other
interference to other equipment.
Each one of the above is an important content of security. Be sure to comply with it.
 After the instruction is read, it should be kept in a place that can be seen at any time.
 Please keep away from fire, please do not use heaters and heating appliances near
the cart, because that will cause deformation, metamorphism of some parts on the
cart, and even the accident of fire etc.
Part 2 Function Summary and Instruction
A. Component Name

B. Product function and Usage method
1. Centralized lock usage: (1) take the key attached on the guardrail (total 2 pcs, one
can be as backup), insert it into the centralized lock, (2) during use, unlock and open
the drawer; after use, close the drawer, and then pull out the key, kept by the keeper.
2. Drawer usage: (1) The surface of each drawer is covered with transparent film (to
prevent the slip of the insert during transportation), remove the film when in use. (2) A
movable partition plate is arranged inside the drawer, it can be freely divided
according to the size of the articles to be placed. Drugs, infusion bags, disposable
supplies and other items can be placed in the drawers from first layer to fourth layer;
first aid bag or other bulky items can be placed in the drawer at fifth layer. (3) Each
drawer can be taken out of the drawer frame and can be cleaned regularly to ensure
that the drawer is clean and free of pollution.
3. Document Box usage: (1) The document box is in the left side of the cart, pull left to
use.
4. Dirt bucket usage: (1) The dirt bucket is packaged on the last layer of the cart drawer,
open the drawer, remove the film and take out the dirt bucket. (2) The dirt bucket
cover is placed inside the dirt bucket, take out the cover (the dirt bucket can be
covered with dust bags, and the dust bag is not provided with the cart), cover it to the
top of the dirt bucket and press downwards. (3) Place the assembled dirt bucket onto
the dirt bucket hook on the right side of the cart, it’s ready for use.
5. Defibrillator platform usage: (1) Remove the packing bag and screw out the fixing
screws. (2) Insert the defibrillator platform into the defibrillator platform base at the left
rear of the cart, fix the position and tighten the fixing screws. (3) If you want to adjust
the position of the defibrillator platform, you can unscrew the fixing screws, adjust it to
the proper position, and then tighten the fixing screws again.
6. IV pole usage: (1) Take off the packing bag and push the four claw IV pole downward
by 90 degrees into an umbrella. (2) Screw out the fixing screws at the right rear of the
cart, insert the IV pole, adjust to the proper position, and tighten the fixing screws
again. (3) If the height of the IV pole needs to be adjusted, screw out the fixing screws,
adjust it to the height you need, and then tighten the fixing screws.
7. Sharps box usage: (1) The Yellow sharps box is placed in the groove at the middle of
the arc handle of the cart top surface. (2) Turn the red cover when you use it, and
then discard the needles and other medical waste. When you have finished, screw
the red cover on.
8. Power line usage: (1) When in use, push the emergency cart to the socket, and pull
out the plug wound around the winding coil at the upper back of the cart, insert the
plug into the socket to electrify. (2) The three position socket on the back panel of
the cart is with a switch, press down the switch when in use. After use, close the
switch and pull the plug inserted on the socket.
9. C.P.R. board usage: (1) Take off the packing bag and screw out the suspension
screws on the back of the cart to the horizontal state, hang the C.P.R. board on the
 back of the cart, turn the suspension screw clockwise 90 degree and fix the C.P.R.
board to prevent slipping. (2) When in use, turn the suspension screw
counterclockwise 90 degree, and take out the C.P.R. board, and the cardiopulmonary
resuscitation can be performed for the patient.
10. Oxygen tank holder usage: (1) Tear the Velcro when using, and turn the oxygen tank
holder base 90 degrees to the horizontal state, place oxygen tank on oxygen tank
holder (oxygen tank is not provided with the cart). Tie the Velcro to prevent the
oxygen tank from slipping. (2) When not in use, turn the oxygen tank holder base
upward 90 degrees to the vertical state, and fasten the Velcro.
11. Whisht casters usage: (1) Brake casters have two plastic sheets, and press big
plastic sheet to brake and fix the cart. (2) To move the cart, press the small plastic
sheet.

C. Placement of Emergency Cart (storage)

To extend the service life of the emergency cart, please avoid placing it in the site as
described below:
 Where the sun is shining.
 Nearby of stoves, heaters and other heating appliances.
 Where easy to accept excessive steam and oil vapor.
 High temperature, wet, low temperature place.
 In the following environments: temperature 5°C～40°C, relative humidity ≤80%.
 Where Dust, smoke, dust, salt, sulfur, corrosive substances, etc. are abundant.
 Where with a bad ventilation.
 Where there is vibration and shock (including handling).
 Where the ground is not solid.
 Where the ground is not horizontal.

Part 4 Maintenance and Cleaning

A. Daily Maintenance

1. Are the fastening screws of each component loose or fall off?.

B. Cleaning and Disinfection

1. In addition to the daily inspection and maintenance, timely need cleaning and
disinfection, cleaning can be made with a soft cloth to wipe, in case you need to have
contaminated disinfection, disinfection can be based on the chlorine-containing
disinfectant, but it should not be in the hospital environment to make extensive use of
inefficient disinfectant, so as not to produce disinfectant resistant strains in the
environment.
