 Indicate the precautions that the following Ahadith call for:


1- The Messenger (PBUH) said: “A sick person should not mix with unaffected
people”.

To isolate a patient with an infectious disease so that the disease is not transmitted
to others.

2- The Messenger (PBUH) said: “Cleanliness is the half the faith”.

Personal hygiene is desirable at all times but certain aspects of personal hygiene are
not only important but also compulsory. Islam places great emphasis on both
physical and spiritual, cleanliness and purification.

3-The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: “Five acts are a part of natural
instinct: circumcision, shaving pubic hair, removing hair from the armpits, shortening
the moustache and clipping the nails”.

To maintain personal hygiene and proper appearance.

 Answer the following questions:

i) Sport has an important role to play in preserving health. Attest to this by


mentioning the greatest number possible of its healthy effects on man.

ii) What are the causes behind the spread of diseases in our era in spite of the
progress made by man in the medical sciences?

Unhealthy lifestyles, such as lack of mobile activities and sports, unhealthy food
habits and psychological stress.

iii) Explain the relationship between psychological wellbeing and physical health.

Physical well-being consists of good physical growth and development. The


psychological well-being is good mental growth and development. The psychological
state of the human being has a direct effect on man’s health.

iv) Imagine what will happen if?
