PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Certificate in Professional Teaching Program (CTP) is a non-degree program designed
for individuals who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in any field and who intend to teach at
the secondary education level. The program will prepare non-education degree holders to take
and pass the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) administered by the Professional
Regulatory Commission (PRC). It aims to provide non-education degree holders with:

Admission Requirement
Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Arts/bachelor of Science Degree from a Higher Education
Institution that is recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). A photocopy of
the valid transcript of record (TOR) must be submitted to the University/College Registrar along
with the completely filled out application form
