Lithium ion batteries the batteries that every one of us carries them in their

cellphone. In addition, the higher energy density it makes the battery long last. Lithium
ion batteries has five different types, shown in a figures.

Lithium-Cobalt Oxide Battery are commonly Lithium-Iron Phosphate Battery are

used in cell phones, laptops, and digital
cameras and it is risky specially when
damaged. This battery is expensive and it is
difficult to find. Lastly is has limited load
capabilities and the highest energy density of
LCO 110-190 Wh/kg
commonly used in power tools and medical
equipment and it reduces the risk of
overheating the fire. This battery has longer
life and safe and the lower energy density of
LIP 95-140 Wh/kg

Lithium-Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide

Lithium-Titanate Battery is commonly used
in Mitsubishi i-MiEV and this battery can
operate a very low temperature 40°C. This
battery has lower inherent voltage 2.4 V and it
has lower energy density 30-110 Wh/kg
Battery are commonly used in power tools,
electric power trains, and electronic bikes and
this battery has longer life and safety to use.
This battery is quite expensive and less prone
to heating. The lower energy density of this
battery 95-130 Wh/kg

and cell phones and this battery is not
expensive but it has high discharge rates. The
