1. What are some important festivals in your country?

Christmas and New Year are important festivals in my country. They are national holidays and many
local activities are held in every family and community. Every member of the family goes home to
celebrate the festival with their loved ones.

Actually, there aren’t many festivals in my country. The only festival that I can think of is the Cherry
Blossom Festival, which is held in different cities and provinces during spring each year. People visit
the festival to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the cherry blossoms in full bloom Visitors can either take
a walk with their loved ones under the falling blossoms or have as many pictures as they can.

2. Can you tell me something about your customs?

There are many customs and restrictions about eating in my hometown. At the beginning of a meal,
you have to wait for the older person to start eating first. Also, you have to stay on your seat the entire
meal because leaving the table before an older person finishes his meal is rude.

The main custom in my country is bowing. When we say hello to others, we bow to each other as a
sign of respect. Shaking hands is very common nowadays, but it’s not a traditional custom in my
country. Bowing is the main custom taught to us by our ancestors, so this particular behavior is
observed widely all throughout the nation.

3. Do you like to travel in your country?

I like traveling in my city very much. There are many interesting places you can visit like the
Hollywood where you can see a lot of handsome and beautiful actors.

people can choose a variety of good places suitable for their comfort. The tourism industry of my
country is fully developed, so I take full advantage of it to live my life to the fullest by enjoying the

4. What kind of climate does your country have?

There are four seasons in my country. Spring and Fall are usually breezy and cool.
Summer is extremely hot and humid. There is a rainy season during the summer for about
2 or 3 weeks. Winter is very cold and dry and the temperature often falls to below zero.

My country has the extremities of weather. While spring and fall are easy to cope with,
summer and winter are very extreme. During spring and fall, the wea ther is very nice and
breezy. On the other hand, summer is very hot and humid, especially during the monsoon
season, which occurs in July and August. Winter is very cold and is drier than in other
seasons, but not as dry as in other parts of the world.

5.What is the biggest celebration in your country?

The biggest celebration in my country is New Year. During this holiday, many people go
back to their hometown to spend this holiday season with their family. All the members of
the family and relatives gather at one house and have a feast. Also, they talk about family
affairs.

There are many big celebrations in my country, but I must say that the biggest one is the
Lunar New Year Day. It is a deep-rooted celebration introduced by our great ancestors.
During this holiday, we must go to our parents’ house and relatives’ house to say hello, and
pay them big bows to wish them a long, happy, and healthy life. In the gathering, family
members have a feast and play traditional games. We also exchange presents to wish
each other a happy holiday.
