PRIVATE SCHOOLS ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION

Batangas Chapter

1. OPENING PRAYER
Opening prayer was led by Mr. Jerome B. Geli of St. Bridget College.

2. DECLARATION OF QUORUM
The President, Mr. Christopher V. Quizon certified the presence of a quorum with
ten (10) in attendance out of thirteen (13) member schools.

3. NEW BUSINESS
a. The President read a letter from Lipa City Colleges which concerns Mr. Jhun
Umali. LCC still holds the position of Auditor represented by Ms. Jobelle U.
Ramos.

b. The President discussed the results held in Davao City PRISAA National Games
2019 where participants/athletes of Batangas Chapter evaluated with satisfactory
ratings. Concerns on officiating during the Nationals were also discussed.

c. Plan to hold a Sports Summit/Seminar for all Sports Director/Coordinatorsto be

funded in the Chapter’s savings.

d. The Chapter will invite new target schools for membership in Batangas Province.
De Lasalle-Lipa plans to return to PRISAA and shouls apply as new member.
Target schools – Batangas Eastern Colleges, San Juan Batangas, FAITH, ICC,
St. Paul, Balayan, Mabini College of Batangas, STI Batangas, TIP-Aboitiz.

e. Deadline for PRISAA remittances for the AY 2019-2020 is on January 9, 2020

for 1st semester andFebruary 4, 2020 for the 2nd semester.

f. Screening of Eligibility is scheduled on February 4, 2020. Cut-off year is 1995for

Senior and 2002 for Youth.

g. Events are the same as last year (Senior & Youth) with PRISAYAWAN for High
School (8 members) and 3x3 Basketball for Senior and Youth still for
confirmation.

h. Venues of Events:
UB – Basketball High School, Chess, Table Tennis, Taekwondo and
Cultural;LPU – Basketball College & Volleyball.
Beach Volley – ABACSA, Lemery;
 Athletics and Swimming – Batangas City Coliseum;
Badminton – Batangas Badminton Center.

4. PRISAA SCHEDULE FOR AY 2019-2020

 PRISAA Batangas Chapter Meet2020 is scheduled on February 13-16, 2020
with host University of Batangas - Main
 PRISAA Regional Meet 2020 will be on March 6-8, 2020 at Batangas City.
 PRISAA National Games 2020 is scheduled on April 18-24, 2019 at
Tugegarao City.

5. FINANCIAL REPORT
The President discussed the expenses incurred during the PRISAA Batangas
Chapter 2019 games, Regional Meet at Cavite and National Games at Davao.

6. OTHER MATTERS
 Next Chapter meeting is on January 9, 2020 Thursday 1:00 p.m. at UB-Main
CAB room.
