Amendment for 22 kV outdoor VCB.

Following changes are required in technical specifications of 22 kV outdoor VCB.

(Getco/Engg/TechSpec/22kV/O/D VCB/R1/Nov07) for SCADA Substation.

(A) Dual DC supply arrangement shall be provided.

(B) Following minimum numbers of potential free contacts are required to be provided for
breaker monitoring in SCADA /control panel; over and above provided for breaker scheme.
(a) Breaker spring charge – 2 NO or 2 NC plus one spare
(b) Control supply DC1 & DC2 fail -1 NO or 1NC plus one spare
(c) AC supply fail indication - 1 NO or 1NC plus one spare
(d) Motor MCB Trip -1 NO or 1NC plus one spare
(e) Local remote switch – 1 Local and 1 remote plus one spare for each

(B) Type tests report validity: SEVEN (7) years instead of FIVE (5) years shall be considered.
