360 Portal runs as a cloud (SaaS) solution, making it globally
accessible for contractors and other third-parties, but it can be
connected to the owner operator’s on-premises BlueCielo Meridian
environment where the final master and project engineering
content is retained. Plant modifications can be initiated within
BlueCielo Meridian for a project which will be linked in the portal.
After receiving content from an external party and synchronization
to BlueCielo Meridian project folders, validation rules can be
applied before all work is accepted.
360 Portal is designed to leverage the power of BlueCielo Meridian
in combination with the cloud to improve collaboration and reduce
costs. By starting with Meridian, you get the power of a robust
system that is specifically designed to handle the demands of
engineering information management.
The cloud provides the common platform for information
exchange with external project stakeholders that does not require
granting contractors and suppliers access to your internal
network. And with the hybrid solution of 360 Portal, you get data
consistency and completeness, full control and confidence in
regulatory compliance, and minimized costs relating to handover.
Secured by Azure
360 Portal provides high security at many levels. Contractors and
third parties only access the 360 Portal - they do not require
domain accounts for the internal network of the owner operator.
360 Portal can be configured to use one or more external
authentication providers, such as Google and Microsoft. It can
also support two-factor authentication methods based on OAUTH
2.0. Further, the network traffic between 360 Portal and the client
always employs the secure HTTPS protocol.
Engineering content is managed and stored primarily in an on-
premises instance of BlueCielo Meridian. Only engineering content
required by external stakeholders is transferred to the 360 Portal,
which runs on Microsoft Azure and has security warranted by
Microsoft Azure Compliance conformity. Content stored in 360
Portal is additionally secured by BlueCielo ECM Solutions in
accordance with the ISO 27001 standard. BlueCielo ECM solutions
is annually audited for compliance with this standard.
