AT THE RIG SITE

DISCUSS THE JOB AND RUNNING PROCEDURES FULLY WITH THE DRILLING
SUPERVISOR.

1. All equipment to be checked for any transit damage.

2. All OD’s and ID'S to be checked against the checklist sheets sent from the
workshop.

3. All connections to be checked and tightened to the specified make up torque. It is

advised that the casing company have the tong jaws on site to do these checks.

4. Check that the liner wiper plug is installed. If not, install the liner wiper plug prior to
picking up the liner.

5. Plug Dropping Head system should already have been made up prior to shipping to
the rig. If not, the system must be made up prior to running the liner.

6. Before installing the drill pipe wiper plug into the Plug Dropping Head, check the
valves rotate freely, fully wind out the retracting bar and count the turns. Visually
check that the bar is fully retracted. Wind the retracting bar fully inwards counting
the turns. Check the swivel turns freely. Install the drill pipe wiper plug. Ensure it is
bottomed out on the retracting bar. Secure the retracting bar.

NOTE: It is imperative that no one touches the plug-dropping head after the
plug has been loaded. This may cause the plug to be dropped after it has been
picked up and circulation of the liner begins.
