COURSE OUTCOMES

At the end of the course, the students should be able to:-

1. Convert digital system number.


2. Perform decimal numbers and BCD code conversions.
3. Determine encoding and decoding concept.
4. Perform logic gate, logic circuits and digital IC.
5. Construct basic digital circuits, combination Minterm and Maxterm project.
6. Construct adders and subtractor circuit.
7. Describe RS, D, JK and T flip-flop, application of shift registers, counters application and memory devices.
8. Perform troubleshooting simple gate circuits.
9. Ensure safety procedure.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course covers a wide variety of topics relating to digital electronics including number systems, binary, octal, and hexadecimal number
systems, truth tables, logic gates, flip-flops, counter and shift registers. Boolean algebra and De Morgan's theorem is also introduced as well as
troubleshooting and problem solving techniques for digital logic circuits. Upon completion, students should be able to construct and
troubleshoot digital circuits using appropriate techniques and test equipment.
