The study focuses on how undergraduate students from a women’s higher educational
institution located in Quezon City present themselves on Bumble and how they converse
with their matches by identifying the different communication strategies they use under the
Impression Management Theory. The participants are selected undergraduate students who
are between the ages of 18 to 24 years old and are from first to fourth-year levels that are
current and active users of Bumble.

A strategy used in conversation wherein the Bumble user agrees to their matches’ thoughts
and opinions to not feel judged or avoid conflict with their matches.
