message from your P R E S I D E N T

Hello my fellow Key Clubbers!
My name is Danny Huynh and I am your 2010-2011 President. School has finally ended, the long exams and
studying is finally paying off. I hope that everyone is having a nice and fun summer! But along with the enjoy-
ment of your summer, I highly suggest that you ask yourself what you want to... See More improve on for this
upcoming school year that would help benefit yourself and our club. Like for example: How to improve our
club spirit? How can I get my friends to join Key Club? Or even how to improve myself over the summer. I know
it’s a lot to ask over the summer, since no one likes to do homework over the summer but in the long run it will
gradually be to your advantage. “If each drop of water in the ocean contributes to making a difference, imag-
ine how much you can contribute to making a difference in this world? If you are seeking inspiration to contrib-
ute to this world, this is the right time to start” - Simran Khurana. In last regards, hope I didn’t bore you guys to
death :). Have a nice summer guys!
Danny Huynh

It is our honor to say thank you for the huge impact you guys made in Key
Club. Thank you for your numerous sacrifices whether it’s taking your lunch
time attending a meeting, using your weekends for community service, or just
being in Key Club. Because of you guys, Independence’s High School Key
Club was able to live and grow to it’s greatest potential.

Once again, thank you for your fullest support over the 2009-2010 Key Club
year. The 2010-2011 board wishes wish you all well in your future endeavors.

ZOOFARI 2010
Family, friends, popcorn, and ICE CREAM?! At Happy Hollow Park &
Zoo on Saturday, June 26, Zoofari 2010 was the place to be! From serving
root beer floats to sundaes to ice cream cones, we Key Clubbers got it
covered. Not only was this fundraiser benefiting Family Supportive Hous-
ing, but it brought friends and family together for a day filled with excite-
